*Mia's P.O.V*
I couldn't believe what I just saw, I didn't say anything the whole ride home. My mouth clamped shut and eyes clipped close. Holding back the tears in the sockets. I couldn't believe my eyes, what did I just saw? Tears brimming in my eyes, I loosen my eyelids and tears shining on my lashes. I look down to my feet, speechless.
"Mind telling me what happened?" Halsey spoke. Morgan's driving the car, she stole a few glances at me. Halsey furrowed her brows and looks at us, confused. No words manage to escape my parted lips, I just sat there in silence. Morgan gave Halsey a quick glare before focusing back on the road. The snow hasn't melted yet and the trees, just trees. If you get what I'm saying, just trees. "We're going to talk about this later on," Morgan cleared up, her voice cracks at the end. Probably the weather, hopefully. She's been taking care of me for like ages and Halsey but, I feel like Morgan is the eldest. The biggest guardian angel, despite that she was born a few months later after Halsey.

I slip off my shoes and lay my back on the couch. My eyes are stingy and it hurts. My heart felt like it ripped open and got dig up from the ribs. Lift up and burnt. My family went somewhere, just me and the girls. Morgan sits on the armchair opposite me and Halsey sits next to me, I'm still laying down, holding back the tears.
Halsey clears up her throat and asked again, "What happened? I'm quite lost. What happened at the mall?" I sit up and stares blankly into her blue eyes, oh how I wish I have coloured eyes. I shook my head and search for a word to come with for her question but just ended up with the famous, "Nothing," I'm broken and sad inside but I want to show to the others that I'm strong outside. At least, that's what society thinks. That's all that matters.
"Mia, stop." Morgan groaned, why is her voice so raspy today? Odd.
"Stop what?" I said, my eyes are probably rimmed red by now.
"Stop saying it's nothing, that thing just now that I saw, was something!" Her voice risen and Halsey, she just, is still quite lost.
"Whoa, what did you guys saw? Or Morgan, tell me already. I'm getting tired of these riddles." Halsey said, pouting a bit.
"It's nothing, okay. Nothing." I replied. Morgan's eyes filled with flames and I bet anger filling her chest like mad.
"Stop, Mia! Stop! For God's sakes, stop saying nothing! I know you so well, Mia. Just fucking stop, that was not something to okay with!"
"I said, it's nothing!" my voice can't rise as high as Morgan's but I got Halsey's eyes filled with worries.
"You know what, whatever. Nathan just treated you like trash and you said it's okay? Mia, fucking stop already. There's plenty of guys out there to choose over him, ugh." Morgan calmed down and her words stab me like a dagger, I've seen her turn into an absolute devil when she's mad but this kind of mad Morgan. Never.
