*Finally! A third person POV*
"Thomas, what - how - why - nevermind. How did you get in?" Morgan asked, Thomas rubbing his hurting head. "S-sorry didn't know it was you. I thought it was a robber or some stuff," she said and Thomas looked up, with a disbelief look on his face. "A robber? Me? Do I look like a robber to you? Anyway, you gave me an extra key. Have you forgotten?" He said and he shook his head. "Oh, right. Have a seat." Morgan said with an apologetic grin.
Thomas sat down and Morgan went to make him a cup of tea. "What makes you come here?" she asked, pouring the hot water into the mug. "Actually, there's a few things I need to tell you. It's quite important for me, but I don't about you, though." He said and Morgan furrowed her brows. "What's important for you is important to me. What is it?" she asked, Thomas took a long breath. He clenched his jaw and went to speak, he stopped. Then, he continued. "Mum and Dad," he uttered. "Remember when you came home and heard them arguing? That, they said something about divorce and you moved me out of the house?" Morgan nodded, the memories came in clearly of the tears they both had shared.
"That's not the point, though. They still argue but you know. Dad knows when to tolerate and such stuff. My point is that, Mum. She fainted the other day and when we brought her to the hospital, they diagnosed her." Thomas said, sipping the tea Morgan made him. "What did they say?" Morgan asked. Her eyes went dilated and the blue got colder. "She - she's suffering from brain cancer and you did notice the headaches she got didn't you? But, it's only the first stage," he said and Morgan cupped her face. "I - I just don't know anymore. We should visit her, is she still in the hospital?"
"Yeah, doctors keeping their eyes on her. Chemotherapy in another three weeks."
Knock. Knock. Knock.
The knocking sound startled Thomas, Morgan glanced at the wall clock and it's promptly four. She opened the door and Ken's face greeted her with a warm smile. Then he peered in, "Oh." he said. "Hello, Tom." He put down his bag and sat on the armchair Morgan was sitting. "Hi, I guess I'll get going now," Thomas said, he stood up on his feet. "No, no. You can stay, besides. I bought a lot of food, like a lot and how old are you?" Ken said. He was holding Thomas by his arm. "Fourteen and a half, turning fifteen in May," said Thomas, he furrowed his brows.
"Old enough, but do you? You know," said Ken and Morgan shook her head. "Mum doesn't allow him to drink till eighteen," she said and Ken raised his brows. "Anyway, I should really go. I need to see my friends in awhile, Joshua waiting down there. Can't be long." said Thomas, he wears his shoes and head for the door.
"Why was he here?" Ken asked. "To tell me something important ..." Morgan said in a low voice, tears brimming in her cold blue eyes. "And what is that?" he said and Morgan looked up at him. Gazing into his green eyes and a stubborn tear stream down her cheek, she said, "Mum, she got brain cancer ..." Ken shot up, his eyes went wide. He wrapped his arms around Morgan, warm and love. "It's okay, love. It's all right, she'll be fine," he said soothingly. "We should visit her, now. Don't cry, the colour of your eyes will fade," he said and Morgan smiled through the tears.
"I feel sinful towards her, Ken. I'm awful, I'm such a bad child. She doesn't deserve this, she just doesn't." she said, hugging her boyfriend even tighter. "Don't say that, never say that. Don't doubt yourself, never deny your beauty, remember?" Ken said and Morgan nodded in his shirt. "You're always the same, angel."
