Boom! Another man down
A pool of blood on the ground
His mother's sorrowful cries
My uncle looks at her with lifeless eyes"Stop," she said
As he lays her onto the bed
Tears flow from her eyes
My friend is helpless and cries"I'm sorry," she says
But that goes into death ears
Because he pounds her to the ground
And laughs at my aunt's tears"Come back!" she screams
Her house was stolen from its seems
All my neighbors' belongings are gone
Something is wrongThe World has changed
Danger lurks in every corner
Policemen are trying to help, but in the game of hot and cold they aren't getting any warmerViolence and hatred needs to stop
No one should die by the hand of a glock
No one should be forced against her own will
No one should be hit until their heart stills
No one should get their life savings stolen
No one should fear the life they were bestowed inTomorrow isn't granted in the world we call home
It's like survival of the fittest, every man on his own
Just stop the violence
The infliction of pain
What do you gain from the hate game?
The world isn't getting better in time
It's getting worse
I just want to press rewind
Can we hit reverse?
