Too Late

The constant pound of sorrow in your soul

It makes you crazy, you know?

As you tie the rope to a hanger

You scoot a chair underneath

Your mother runs frantically around the house

But she is too late

So is everyone else

Now could people just get this through their head?

You can't apologize to someone who is already dead
