"Emma wake up!" My mom yelled through the door. I sprinted up. It was finally my last day of school. My school was very small so i wouldn't have some huge prom or graduation. I was going to take a year off between high school and college just so i can figure myself out bit and what i want to do.
My mother continued banging on the door.
"Im awake!" I yelled. The banging stopped and i threw the covers off me. I put on a flowy dress that went to my mid thigh then threw on some cute flats and went into my bathroom.

I was never a very makeup girl. Some winged eyeliner and mascara was all i needed. Im glad i have clear skin. I looked at my face in the mirror and saw a paint stain from yesterday. Crap. I washed my face and lightly scrubbed it. It came off but soon the spot on my face was completely red.

I put on my eyeliner and mascara and grabbed some chapstick and applied it. I then got a comb to brush through my wavy hair. I finished combing it and went downstairs.

My younger sister riley was downstairs already eating some pancakes. She was 14 and a freshman.

I grabbed my backpack and keys.

"Lets go" i said. She rolled her eyes at me and i scoffed. She grabbed her stuff and we went out the door. I was ready to finish school. Although id miss my friends but we'd still probably talk everyday.

I drove to school and we got off. Riley went her way and i caught up with friends.

"Ayyy emma" i heard chase say.
"Hey" i replied
"Mads we should go to the last day of school party tonight" Anne said.
"Id rather not" i said. Everyone at those party's were usually annoying as fuck. Id rather just listen to music and paint all day.
I sat down at the usual table and listened to everyone talk about applying to colleges and shit. Whats the point of rushing into it so fast. Id rather relax for a while and just figure everything out. Like what i want to do. And maybe even have some fun. Not just finish school only to go back.

I rolled my eyes. I wanted something exciting. I haven't had fun in so long. I want to feel something again.

"Em!" I heard a familiar voice say
"Hey" i turned to face Derek. He flirted way too much and couldn't take a hint if his life depended on it.

He hugged me and my nose filled with cologne. I hugged back and he put his arm very lowly on my back. I shifted and pulled back. He smirked at me and i smiled. I didn't want to be rude.

All the seniors were gathering around the school. It was the last minute until the final bell rang. I couldn't help but let a tear go. It doesn't really hit you how fast you grow up and will have to go to work. I sighed and the bell rang. People started rushing out the gates and me and all my friends were standing around.

"Bye Em you better not stop talking to me" Anne said. I smiled at her. She was the only one i genuinely liked. I hugged her. She pulled back and waved. She started walking to her car and i felt arms around me.
"Em!" Derek said lifting me up.
"What" i said.
"We should hang out sometime maybe netflix?" He asked smirking.
"I-uh have a boyfriend" i lied.
"Well he doesnt have to know" he said rubbing my back. I uncomfortably grabbed his arm and took it off me. I walked away.

I looked for riley and she was with some boy. I didnt want to embarrass her so i waited in the car.

Five minutes later she came and we drove home. I sighed. What was i going to do for the rest of my life.

I went upstairs and into my room. I went on my phone and saw everybody posting on Instagram and snapchat. I sighed.

"Em take riley to the mall!" I heard my mom yell. I wasn't even home for 30 minutes and I'm already leaving again.
