On my right, Jai had his hands on me the whole time. Either around my waist or my shoulders or on my legs. He wouldn't let go for a single minute. He was having a discussion with the boys about something I wasn't paying any attention on. I was lost in my own thoughts. On my left, was sitting Beau who was too quiet since the moment he walked in. He seemed puzzled about something and something made me think that he isn't always this quiet.

"Jai" Beau broke his eternal silence. I didn't know if it was for good or not. Everyone's eyes were now on Beau.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" he asked and nodded towards another room that looked like the kitchen.

"Yeah. Watch her" he said to the other two who immediately approached me and filled the seats of Beau and Jai next to me. Both of them, like everyone else, stared at me from head to toe. My hair that was blue, my tattoos that were many and my steptum piercing.

"Why are you..like that?" asked Daniel.

"Why did your mother made you...like that" I said back at him to his surprise.

"Can I hit her?" he yelled so Jai could hear him from the kitchen.

"No" Jai said same loudly and Daniel chuckled. He didn't look like he really wanted to hit me. Maybe he was joking. But that didn't change the fact that I wanted to hit him.

"You're a rebel...I like you" he added with a smile.

"Couldn't care less" I said and they both burst out laughing. They're either high or just stupid._.

"So Darcy. Where are you from?" asked James.

"Unicorn world" I replied clearly not giving a damn.

"I'm trying to make it less awful" he said. He had a point.

"Poland" I answered honestly.

"And what are you doing in Australia?" he asked again.

"Dunno. I like kangaroos" it sounded more like a question. Sarcasm was second nature to me. In general I was quite very reactive but I felt that it wasn't gonna help me with Jai.

"The only kangaroo you'll see is Jai. Jumping is his thing" Daniel laughed and my stomach climbed up to my throat. Gross. What am I doing here? Escape or become a slave. In that moment, is when I decided that I ain't gonna stop until I'm out. At any cost. Even if that means die trying. There was no life in here any day. When he was done he'd kill me. I just had to gain his trust so I could go. It's on..

Jai's P.O.V.
"Have you lost that little piece in your head you had as a brain?" Beau said aggressively just when we entered the kitchen.

"What's your problem?" I asked and crossed my arms over my chest.

"What's my problem? You can't just kidnap people and pretend it's all fine. If she escapes you're done" he said loudly but not enough to be heard outside the kitchen.

"She won't. And it won't be for long. When I get what I want, I'll kill her and get rid of the body. It's nothing new to me" I defended myself. Okay it wasn't the best defence but it was all interlinked. There was a reason for all of this and the best one to do something like that. I didn't like killing people. But I was determined to let no one get in my way to revenge.

"Now what? We'll pretend we don't know her already? That it's our first time seeing her? That you "randomly" knocked on her door that night?" he added.

"Exactly. She can't find out about any of this. I mean it. Don't fuck it up" I warned him.

"Look. I understand your need to get revenge. I want it too more than anything. But do you think Luke would like that?" he said, compassion in his eyes.

"You don't understand" I avoided the conversation he was about to start.

"Just go with my story and stay back. It'll be over soon" I said determined and went back to the living room. It's on..
