Alicia & Kaitlin's POV'S

After a few minutes, the swelling in my leg subsided. 'Well,' I said, limping slightly, 'we need to plan everything for tomorrow night.' David took my hand and wrapped his arm around my waist. 'We can take you both home,' he suggested, 'me and Kyle.' 'But we have our car here,' I pointed out. Kyle immediately chimed in, 'Oh, we can take the car home, me and Kaitlin.' David turned to me, a playful grin on his face. 'Then I'll take you home?' (A clear nod to their song, 'Can I Take You Home?') 'Yeah,' I replied, smiling and blushing. Kyle said, 'We'll meet you at the hotel.' 'Oh yeah!' I exclaimed, 'We forgot to check in, Kaitlin!' 'Ugh!' she groaned, a little too loudly. 'Okay, well, we'll check in together when we get there.' 'Okay,' I agreed. They said their goodbyes, and we parted ways

Alicia's POV

As Kaitlin and Kyle headed towards their car, David and I walked to his. His arm was draped casually around my waist, his hand holding mine. 'Is your leg feeling any better?' he asked. 'Yeah,' I replied, blushing, 'I can walk on it.' Still, he kept a protective grip on my hand. We reached his car, and he opened the door for me, then smoothly slid across the roof. I couldn't help but laugh. 'What?' he asked, grinning. 'Nothing,' I said, and we both burst into laughter. Inside the car, our laughter subsided, and we exchanged a lingering look. I looked down, then back up, my gaze drawn to his eyes. He leaned closer, and my mind raced: What do I do? He kissed me, a soft, tentative kiss, then held my hand. 'I'm sorry,' he said. 'No, it's okay,' I replied, leaning in to kiss him back. He pulled away. 'What's wrong?' I asked. 'I have something to ask you,' he said, his voice hesitant. 'Yeah?' I asked, a mix of confusion and apprehension swirling within me. 'I know we've only known each other a few hours,' he began, 'but I feel a real connection. Umm... would you want to go out with me?' 'Yes,' I said immediately. He kissed me again, more passionately this time. I pulled back, a playful grin on my face. 'We have to get to the hotel,' I said. 'Oh shit, yeah!' he laughed, starting the car. We were on our way. Fifteen minutes later, my phone rang. It was Kaitlin. 'Where are you guys?' she asked, sounding confused. 'We're on our way now! I'll explain later,' I said. 'Okay...?' she replied. We hung up.
