May 15th, 2013. Kaitlin's birthday, and we were set to celebrate in the most epic way possible: Warped Tour. We'd scored tickets to see Asking Alexandria, Breathe Carolina, and a slew of other bands. The anticipation was a tangible buzz as we drove to the venue. After parking, we headed straight for the ticket booth, our excitement building with each step. Then, a stroke of pure luck—we won VIP passes in a raffle. Excitement surged through us. With our newfound VIP status, we made our way for the Kio Stage, eager to catch Breathe Carolina's set before diving into the chaos of Asking Alexandria and the rest of the day's lineup."

Alicia & Kaitlin's POV'S

We hit the Kio Stage just as Breathe Carolina (BC) launched into their set, a mix of dubstep and "Hit and Run." Kaitlin and I were totally into it, jamming out. The energy was electric, and I knew the rest of her birthday night was going to be epic. As the show neared its end, they dropped "Last Night," "Blackout," and "Lauren's Song," sending the crowd wild. With VIP tickets in hand, we headed backstage to meet BC. David and Kyle were deep in conversation when they spotted us, immediately walking over. Kaitlin, a little flustered, managed a shy "Hi." I burst out laughing, unable to contain myself at her blushing expression. "What's so funny?" David asked, a hint of amusement in his voice. "I'll tell you later," I said, still chuckling. "Did Kaitlin mention my name?" I asked. "Nope," Kyle replied. After introductions, we headed to a private area backstage, where the beers started flowing. Kyle handed us each one, but I snatched Kaitlin's away before she could take a sip. "No drinks for you," I told her, "Not until your party later." "Why not?" Kyle asked, raising an eyebrow. "It's her birthday," I explained, "but..." "How old are you guys?" Kyle interrupted. "She's turning 21, I'm 22," I said. David's eyes lingered on me, and he gave me a playful wink, making me blush. Luckily, Kaitlin and Kyle didn't notice. "She's celebrating later," I clarified. David and Kyle nodded, David winking again, sending a wave of giggles through me. Glancing at my phone, I exclaimed, "Shit! We're missing Asking Alexandria (AA)! They're starting in ten minutes!" We turned to leave, but David stopped us, asking for our numbers. He got both Kaitlin's and mine, and I impulsively gave mine to Kyle too. "Bye!" we said, grinning, and dashed off to the other stage. We arrived just as AA launched into "Not the American Average." Fighting our way through the crowd, we finally reached the front row just in time for Ben's part. As he scanned the audience, we sang along, "One step too late, and I never told you that I can't take another disappointment..."

The song echoing throughout the area: 'Breathing and grasping, all leads to another messy ending.' Then, the chant erupted: 'TEN INCH!' Ben, scanning the front row, locked eyes with Kaitlin and me. A slow smile spread across his face, followed by a wink, sending a blush creeping up our necks. As the show wound down, they launched into 'A Prophecy.' When the final notes faded, we headed backstage, with our VIP passes to go meet Asking Alexandria crew. The entire band was mid-conversation when we arrived. Ben turned sharply to James, a hint of irritation in his voice. 'What the fuck are you staring at?' he demanded. Then, his gaze shifted to us, and he fell silent, momentarily speechless. (I couldn't help but think: James is definitely checking me out. He was fixated the moment we walked in.) A giggle escaped me, prompting Danny to look at Ben and say, 'What the fuck's so funny?' 'Ben's speechless,' I replied, still chuckling, 'he can't even talk to my best friend.'"
