Alicia's POV
David and I arrived at the hotel, and after Kaitlin and I checked in, we walked to our room, hand in hand. Before David and Kyle left, he kissed me. Kaitlin's eyes widened. 'What happened?! When did you two start dating?' she asked, clearly shocked. 'In the car,' I explained. 'We were laughing, then he kissed me. I kissed him back after he apologized, and we talked. He asked me out, kissed me again, and then, well, here we are.' I turned to Kaitlin. 'Have you talked to Ben lately?' 'Yeah,' she replied. 'What have you guys been talking about?' I asked, then added, 'And I can't wait to celebrate your birthday somewhere special tomorrow night—where I'm officially giving you permission to drink!' I grinned. 'I also picked out dresses for us.' I showed her the dress I'd chosen, and she smiled, hugging me. 'It's beautiful! I love the mint color.' 'Oh,' she said, a sly grin spreading across her face, 'Ben said he has a special birthday present for me... and he asked me out too.
