A Daydream Away

I woke up my eyes were puffy and swollen, I stretched in my bunk, I was so tiny, my feet didn't even reach the back wall of the bunk, "Donna are you up?" I sighed, and groaned, "Yes Ryk." I said, he was the last person I wanted to see right now, "Are you okay? I thought I heard you crying last night." "I'm fine." I lied, I jumped out of my bunk, "No...your eyes are puffy." "Leave it." I snapped, he frowned, Marcus passed me and stuck his tongue out at me, I smiled lightly, I should have just let stuff happen last night... would Zack really be that mad? I groaned inwardly, I went to my suitcase and pulled out pink skinny jeans with a Glamour Kills shirt. I took out Alex's Beanie that he let me have, "Donna...do you wanna be with me?" Ryler asked quietly, "Not if you keep nagging me." I said turning around to him, he pulled a suprised face and walked over to his bunk, I can't be weak anymore, I can't have feelings for anyone. "I QUIT THE BAND!" Ryker yelled suddenly, I turned wide eyed to the rest of the guys, "What?" Marcus snapped, "What the fuck are you talking about?!" Luca said, Ryker pulled his suitcase from a bunk, I composed myself..is this what it comes down to? A broken band?! "Bye." he said, "RYKER WHAT THE FUCK!" Steven yelled, I sobbed lightly, I can't take this anymore... I finished getting dressed and ran over to Zack's bus. I don't care of Alex is up, if Alex is sleeping, I need my brother right now, I banged hard on the bus door 5 seconds from breaking down, Zack opened the door, "Sis! What happened!" he picked me up and sat me down on the bus couch, I cried harder, "What happened D?!" he asked, I put my face into his chest, "R-Ryker l-left the band!" I cried, "Holy shit... D I'm so sorry." he said rubbing my back, I whimpered, "I hear crying." Jack said peeking out of his bunk, he ran out of his bunk in his All Time Low booty shorts, "Donna come here what happened!" he said sitting next to me, I pushed my body off Zacks chest to have my head put on Jack's shoulder. "Ryker left her band." Zack said making me cry harder, "Fuck dude." Jack mumbled, Zack rubbed my back, "What am I going to do?" I whispered, "Listen okay, I'll play with you on stage until you find a new lead guitarist okay?" Jack asked, I sighed and wiped my eyes, "N-No..." I said, "Yes." Jack said puttinng his chin on top of my head, "Whoa." Alex said, I looked up at him and cried again, "It'll be okay, I'm going to go over to your bus right now and learn the guitar parts from Marcus okay?" Jack asked, I shrugged, he got up and went to put on a shirt, he left to my bus a few minutes later. I looked up at Alex, he frowned and sat across from me, "So are you and Ryk over?" Zack asked, I sighed, "Yeah. I guess." "What happened?" Zack asked, "He was annoying." I mumbled making Zack chuckle, "I knew you were tired of the poor bastard." I always depended on Zack for everything, I had a whole new view of Jack he wasn't just a prankster, he actually cared for me, he made things better. I looked at Alex who gave me a small, sad smile.

~On the Advent Stage~

I walked on with the boys behind me, Jack put his hand on my shoulder, he learned all the cords quickly, "Hi. We are Caationary Waterways. As you can see there's a member missing." I said, the crowd cheered then went quiet, "Ryker unfortunately left us today." A lot of people groaned and some people even left the crowd, I sighed and looked down, "But I'm replacing him for a lot of shows so you get to look at this sexy face." Jack said, we started the set, "We spent a lot of talking about what to do, but the show must go on right?!" Luca yelled, "Can I get the bass tuned up in my in ear moniters a little bit?" I asked into the mic, "AGHHHHH!" I heard going over to the speakers, I looked around the stage, no one made the yell, "MY BALLS ARE ON FIRE!" I heard, I looked around again, "Who has an extra mic?" I asked, "God!" the voice boomed, I heard cheers, "I LIKE TO TOUCH LITTLE BOYD IN MY SPARE TIME!" Jack laughed, Alex jumped on stage, I smiled lightly, "I'M GOD!" Alex yelled getting on one of the boxes at front stage, people yelled, me and Alex still had unresolved things going on but for the sake of everyone I should just let it go. So thats just what I did for a long time.

~2011~

So! Cautionary Waterways is now on tour with The Ready Set and All Time Low. I am classified as a drunk. To many emotions bottled up, way to many, I sat there with a bottle of Jack and as everyone was conversing I just drank my troubles away, Matt Flyzik is now CWW's manager as well as All Time Low. So many changes going on, Alex is dating a girl named Lisa who looks like she's 12 and my best friend Cassadee was dating Rian from All Time Low. That last relationship commenr wasn't necessary but I'm happy for them. It's been a while since Rian and Cassadee habe been happy as a unit. Lisa was on tour with us so I had to see that bitch everyday. I downed another chug of Jack the burning sensation made me want to throw up, I was plastered and in my mind that was a-ok. Zack sat down next to me, "Hey bro." I slurred, "Donna...we need to talk." he said, "Hmmm?" I questioned, the bus got quiet, "We all as a group think you need some help with your drinking." "Like...more alcohol, cause I could use it." I slurred in response, "No like...you drink TOO much." Jack said sitting across from me, "No I don't!" I protested, "Your drunk on stage now too." I shot daggers at Steven, "Okay... I'll stop drinking so much." I promised, Zack took the bottle, Alex walked in and swiped the bottle from Zack and took a swig. I stared at him, "I-I love him." I said, Zack sighed in disgust.

~Alex's P.o.V~

"Can you please stop hanging out with her?" Lisa begged, "Who?" I asked sitting in the back lounge staring at Lisa, "Zachary's sister." "She's one of my best friends?" I asked confused, well not recently, not since I started dating Lisa, Donna seperated herself from me. Which hurt because I couldn't understand why she would do that, I remember in 2008 Donna made it clear she didn't have feelings for me anymore.

-Flashback-

Me and Donna sat by the shore in Miami, "This is beautiful man." I said, Donna nodded and took a sip of her Corona, "Do you still like me?" I asked, she snorted, "Nah that was just a childhood crush. Don't worry about shit." she said taking another sip, I wasn't worried I was more hurt. I just stared at the sunset, well...what the fuck...

-Reality-

"Alex...she fucking stares at you like your her everything, how do you think that make me feel?!" Lisa snapped, "She doesn't look at me in any way." "Then your blind." she mumbled angrily, "Calm yo titties." I said to her, "No! Just say you'll stop hanging with her." "No!" I defended. "Then I can't be with you." "Wooooow you're gunna be like that right now?" I asked as she stood up, "Well fine!" I yelled, "Yeah, why don't you go hang out with that drunk." "She's not a drunk." I retorted walking to Cautionary's bus. I walked in and took a Jack bottle from Zack. Donna looked up at me with drunk hazed eyes. I gave her a small smile, "I-I love him." she rambled, I looked at her quickly, she passed out on Zack's lap. "Dude...did she mean you?" Zack asked, "Probably not." I mumbled, I wish... "Do you... have feeling for her?" Zack asked picking her up and putting her in her bunk, "Will you kill me if I do." He sighed and turned to me, "I would rather her be happy that be a drunk." Zack said, "Well...I've liked her ever since I met her." I said, Zack rolled his eyes, "It's been like 7-8 years, you haven't said shit?" "Bro, I was fucking scared of you man." I said, "Well tell her when she wakes up. I'm going to skate." he said walking away, how can I tell her? NOWS NOT THE TIME TO BE NERVOUS YOU PUSSY!!! Oh but I was nervous...deathly nervous.
