Lilith's POV
"I know you think we won't believe or support you, but we are your best friends! You have to talk to us, we are worried about you!"
I don't believe Pansy's words, not even a bit. They don't make me feel safe or wanted like she's trying to make me believe. It's like she only wants to know what's wrong with me so she can go and spread more rumors about me. And yes she did that before. Yesterday I caught her talking to her Slytherin minions about me. And it wasn't a good thing. She was telling them that I was having a hard time finding a sex partner. She told them I wanted to lose my V-card as soon as possible. Well, today a couple of boys came to me and asked if my needs were already satisfied or if they could help me. I was so confused that they left soon after.
No one knew how to explain that situation. I even started avoiding Draco, thinking he was disgusted by me. But he wasn't. He greeted me on the halls like always and talked to me like a normal person would. And I couldn't tell him the truth, about my memories. I guess I still have to find some confidence before facing him.
I have been waiting for the right time to confront Pansy about her actions. And the time has come, finally.
"Oh, so you want me to cry a river and tell you all my secrets so you can go and spread nasty rumors about me? That's low, even for you." I tell her without raising my tone.
"W-what?" She stutters. I know she's trying to hide it, the lying bitch. "I would never do that to you."
It's a good thing we are near the lake, empty due to lunch time. It would be very awkward with the whole school watching us.
"So that conversation I heard between you and those girls was nothing?!" I'm fuming, angrier than ever. I have to calm down or this pathetic girl will be in danger. I have to control myself before something tragical happens. I'll explain later. "I really don't want to be next to you again, Parkinson. You disgust me."
I get up to leave her but she has something else on her sleeve.
"Well, well, well. Little miss Lilith is now a badass. What happened to the sweet, caring little girl?" She mocks but I sense fear in her voice. Just a little.
"She died." I blurt, my hands finding the collar of her shirt. "And if you don't want the same thing to happen to you, you better leave."
She nods quickly, her hair falling on her eyes as she does it. As soon as I release her she sprints away from me. Good. How could she do that to me after everything we went through? She was the one who helped me with the 'forgetting Draco Malfoy' thing."
"I am so stupid sometimes." I whisper. I feel the burning in my arm and I know I have to leave soon, or I'll hurt someone.
I need some privacy right now. And I know the right place to relax and eat my lunch. Because the Room of Requirement provides food as well. Don't ask me how but it's delicious. I'm not paying attention to the path I'm following, too focused on not exploding.
I walk by a board with a small note written on it:
If you're seventeen or turn seventeen until June 31st, you can write your name down here and be one of the lucky students who will learn how to Apparate with one of the Ministry of Magic's Instruxtors.
Price: 12 GalleonsWell, it's a bit pricy but he said I have to learn how to Apparate correctly if I want to be safe while they have their eyes on me. But as I re-read the board I notice the date. June, and my birthday is in July. Damn it, I can't participate. I'll find another way to learn this.
