This story is fictional, it does not take place in the nineties, it's like a modern version of Harry Potter.m. Okay? Okay. Now the chapter.
---------------Lilith's POV
"I'm so tired of studying!"
"Well, it's your fault. You thought these breaks would be funny and used for naps and sleep. You were wrong Lil."
I rest my head on the table, screaming against the wood. The librarian stares at me and hisses under her breath, earning a glare from my dear friends. Thank you, guys.
"Lilith, I have been waiting all yen life to say this..." Blaise stands and grabs my shoulders with his hands.
"What are you doing?" I ask, leaning back on my chair, slightly afraid of Blaise's movements.
"Lilith Jamie Potter..." He starts. "You're a wonderful girl, an amazing witch and one of my best friends... I hope you know that I am very proud of you, I love you like a sister..."
I nod as he looks me in the eye, his eyes watering right in front of me. What the heck is going on?
"I have the deepest respect for you, and I have to tell you this, I'm getting crazy with this shit stuck in my head." He whispers the next words into my ear. "Don't trust them, okay? Be careful, choose your friends wisely."
He walks away from me and leaves Pansy and I staring after him as he runs out of the library. I look at her and she avoids my stare, looking around the library like she's searching for something.
"What the fuck was that?" I ask, knowing that Pansy understood what Blaise meant. "What was that? 'Choose your friends wisely'?"
Pansy shakes her head had gathers her stuff and stuffs her books on her bag, still not looking at me. She sighs and stands, her chair falling on the floor behind her, but she doesn't pick it up.
"I'll see you later." She mumbles and leaves me just like Blaise did, with me staring at her back as she walks away.
These past few weeks have been crazy. Harry and I... Let's just say that our relationship isn't the best one. We haven't talked like normal sibling since the incident with Dumbledore. We have had several fights because Harry doesn't trust me with the secrets he has with Dumbledore. I know we haven't seen each other for fifteen years, but I'm his twin sister. Shouldn't that mean something?
I guess he's more interested in talking to Dumbledore than trusting his own twin. I sigh and lay my head on the table, some of my books falling to the floor. I'm such a mess, God damnit. I kneel under the table to pick up my books, but I feel a hand on my own as I grab by Potions book. Looking up, I meet the beautiful eyes that I hate so much.
"You're so clumsy, Potter." He chuckles and hands me the book he caught. "How are you this fine afternoon?"
I stare at him, not knowing what to answer. He hasn't insulted me yet, he must be sick or getting ready to kick my butt as soon as I get up.
"Hm, fine. What about you, Malfoy?" I ask politely.
"Brilliant."
"Good."
I don't know what to say besides 'good', so I just grab the rest of my books and do what Pansy and Blaise did. I walk out of the library without another word. I feel Malfoy's eyes on me, but j don't turn around.
