chapter 1

Mals POV:

It was getting late probably after midnight but i didnt care i could stay in Bens arms forever and never leave knowing i had to just made me tighten my grip around his waist. we hadnt moved since the fireworks had begun above our heads. Suddenly Evie approached us followed by Doug, Jay,Chad,Jane,Carlos and Audrey.

"Hey Mal, Ben we are just about to go im really tired and so is everyone else so are you coming too or.." Evie said trailing off.

But before i could even answer Ben stepped in "Actually me and mal are just gonna catch you guys tomorrow. I promise that ill bring Mal back safe."at that everyone nodded and began to walk away.

i turned to look up, met with Bens eyes staring down at me. "So..." i stated to break the silence "What exactly are we doing if we arent going with the guys because unless you know something i dont they were right. It is getting late!"

Ben stepped back letting go off me before reaching out his hand waiting for me to take it before gently pulling me inside the castle and away from the noise of the party. After walking down some corridors and up a staircase we finally stopped outside a room. Ben glanced down at me before opening the big oak door.

Bens POV:

Mal had followed me to my 2nd favourite spot in Auradon. Just before i open the door i look down and there in front of me is Mal my true love someone i hope one day to make my wife.

i open the door slowly before stepping out onto the large balcony to watch the fire works with only the mummer of the party slowly winding down beneath us.

"Do you like it" I ask as i turn to face Mal.

"I love it and...."

"Mal what is it you know you can tell me anything. You can trust me , I love you."

"I love you too"

Without even thinking i lean down and kiss Mal straight on the lips and after a second i feel her kiss back. After kissing her for a few more seconds a clock in the distance began to chime and i suddenly realised how late it really was.

i pulled away from the kiss slowly and stood straight "Its getting late i should get you back Evie will be worried." i said quickly before ducking and giving her a quick peck on the cheek before she had time to refuse and pulling her back in the castle and back to her dorm hand in hand.

When we reached her dorm Mal slowly stood on her tip toes and kissed my cheek before turning about to go in the door before i pulled her arm turning her and gently placing my lips on her before pulling away placing my forehead against her and whispering "Goodnight mal. I love you"

"Goodnight Ben. I love you too"
