Chapter 3

Mal PoV

After what felt like hours me and Ben finally decided to get up and I (with the help of a little spell)  got dressed so that we could go to our spot.
The enchanted lake.

Bens PoV

We walked to the lake hand in hand smiling. I stole a look at mal only to find her already looking up at me as we stepped off the bridge we were very different and things had changed a lot since the last time we had been here yet everything around us remained the same from the old ruins to the waterfall that u could only just see between the rocks and caves that surrounded the lake.
I had been here before going to pick up Mal too set up a picnic and although it looked almost identical to our first date it wasn't intentional.
"Mal, you havnt said anything is something wrong ?is it too much like our first date? what?"I didn't want Mal upset so if something was wrong I wanted to know what it was.
"Ben nothing's wrong." Mal said so quiet in a whisper so that I only just heard her."It's perfect, actually it's beyond perfect because I'm with you. It's just I remembered the first time you brought me here. You asked me if I loved you and at the time I told you what was in my heart. That I didn't know how to love but now my answer would be completely different and that's because of you. You changed me for the better and I love you so much."
"And I love you" was all I could say before pressing my lips against hers with passion and love.
We spent the afternoon there talking about our pasts our lives before we met and I asked her to come to the palace for dinner with my parents but soon it was getting dark and I had to drop Mal off at her dorm but not before giving her a romantic kiss outside.

Malls PoV

As I opened the door Evie squealed in delight as she saw the smile spread across my face.
"You kissed him didn't you? Aw. Mal do you love him? Did you have a good time? Is Ben a good kisser? Mal.."
"Evie," I said cutting her off and getting her to breath."Evie I think I do love him, we have kissed several times and he is a great kisser not that I have anyone to compare him too and of course I had a fantastic time. We went to the enchanted lake and Ben had recreated our first date it was so romantic. I just want to be with him all the time. And Evie I need your help."
"Mal why do you need my help?"
"Ben asked me to the palace for dinner and I don't know if i can go. The closer I get to Ben the more I love him and that scares me. I already know bens parents don't like me so this time I want to make a good impression."
"Ok Mal I'll help you and I know just where to start..."
