Chapter 8

Bells PoV

Mal and Ben have just stepped outside so I have some time to think.
As soon as they saw each other their smiles brightened and their eyes twinkled. They are very much in love and that makes me happy. Ben will always be my baby boy so him being happy is all I want.
I suggested this day because I want to get to know the woman my son may someday marry not the villains daughter that is rotten to the core!
I hear murmuring outside the door and am sure I hear 'i love you' before silence.
A few minutes later Mal enters blushing and smiling. She looks much more relaxed and happy just after seeing Ben.
"Hi" she whispers shyly.
"Hi Mal, it's lovely to see you both so happy."
She blushes more before saying simply "I love him" this makes me happier than anything else in the world.
"Mal that is all I hope for today is and never was to see if you love him or to find out if you evil it's about me getting to know who you really are."
"I understand that and hope that you get to know me and that I get to know you as well. I promise that you can ask me anything you like and I will give you an honest answer."
"Okay let's start with you telling me about your family."
Her face drops a little but she continues to smile." My family is Evie, dug and Chad even on the island my mum never loved or looked out for me like they did. I never knew who my father was and aren't aware that my mother is related to any of the other villains even though she is evil she would have told me I think. She could of course be related to someone who wasn't sent to the island but I don't know" she shrugs a little after explaining this like she has never really thought about it.
"Well Ben of course has me and his father and then my father-his grandfather that we never really see much but we only have a small family and very close friends such as Mrs Potts our housekeeper. Before I forget I think I know what Ben was looking for but he didn't find it because I had already hidden it."
"What did you hide" she asks clearly confused.
"His baby book!" She begins to laugh as I pull out a big brown dusty book out of a draw near the big wooden desk in the middle of the library.
I open the book on a random page to find a picture of Adam in the middle of the night in just pj pants with a tired looking Ben laying on his chest looking wide eyed at the camera in just a nappy. This of course makes us both laugh again. We must have been too loud as Ben suddenly opened the door now full dressed and walked in lime something was wrong.
"Is everything okay I heard you and just thought I'd.... " he starts but soon stops when he sees the album.
Just as he is about to lunge at it Mal waves her hand and Ben stands still.
I must look confused as Mal states" sorry I know I shouldn't use magic on him and I never have before but I know that if I don't he will get that book and I'll never see his cute little pictures." After she says this I smile and turn another page in the book while bens tortured face continues to look mortified and turns even more red as a picture of him laying on his belly naked with his bum on full show comes up and we again burst into giggles. As soon as the spell Mal put on Ben has worn off he reaches down and snatches the book holding it just above meals head as she try's to reach it.
I watch as Mal stands on her tip toes to try and reach the book Ben is laughing but he reaches down and gives her a peck on the lips before whispering just loud enough so that I can hear " You Mal Bertha will never get to see these photos again and neither will anyone else!" Mal pouts and turns to me.
Ben hold the album in one hand behind his back and he puts his other arm around mals waist pulling her back to his front and resting his head on her shoulder. It's so adorable I grab my phone and before either of them notice I take a picture while they look at each other smiling. They both look up when the flash goes off.
"Oops" mals smiles sweetly but Ben whines "muuuummmmm"
I just smile.
