Chapter 4

Evie's PoV

I know that Mal doesn't trust people easily so to see here put all of her trust in Ben is exceptional but to see her happy is one of the best feelings in the world. I love her like sister so if she's happy then so am I.
After she told me she was going to the palace for dinner we set to work. Mal got in the shower and washed her hair she sat down in front of the mirror and let me work my magic.
I did her makeup natural using lilacs and pinks to highlight her glowing green eyes full of excitement and happiness. Once she was over the initial shock of not being hideous she started to pick out a dress with my help of course settling on a lilac dress cut just below her knees with matching lilac wedged sanders and of course a flowing purple jacket. Once she had picked her outfit she whispered under her breath and within a second she stood I front of me dressed with her purple locks flowing freely in front of her in there usual bouncy curls.
"Mal you look stunning." I said with a slight gasp.
"Thank you Evie."
"Your welcome but it was only clothes and a bit of makeup."
"No Evie not just for that for everything you've done for me you helped more than anyone else when we came here and on the island you have always been there for me even when you weren't good on the outside you were good on the inside. I love you Evie your my best friend and my sister and I'm so glad we came here."
"I love you too Mal more than you will ever know"
I pulled her into a hug and then pulled back at the sound of the door.
"Your prince, I mean kings here." After a small giggle she opens the doors and steps out of the door excited about her night.

Male PoV

I open the door expecting Ben but am met with the Chaffee of bens limo waiting to escort me down stairs into the car towards the castle.
As I step inside the car instead of an empty car I see Ben sitting on the other side waiting for me smiling up at me with a smile that makes me melt.
"Hi" I say shy for some reason.
"Hi" he replies softly leaning over to give me a kiss on the cheek but cheekily I turn my head and he catches my lips for a quick peck before pulling back giving me a quick smile and grasping my hand and holding it in his between us.

As we pulled up outside the castle i feel a small tight know form in my stomach.
Is it nerves or am I scared that they won't like me?
Pushing the feeling aside I place my hand in bens and step out of the car placing my hand in bens as we walk into the castle.
Inside everything is spotless. There isn't a speck of dirt insight even on the huge chandelier that hangs high above our heads.
Belle and Adam step forward from were they were standing ready to greet us and Ben lets go off my hand to greet his parent kissing his mother on the cheek and shaking his fathers hand before turning back to me and grasping my hand. After greeting their son they turn to me. Adam nods his head with a smile as I curtesy and belle shocks me by pulling me towards her as I release bens hand and pulling me into a tight welcoming, warm hug whispering in my ear "You make Ben so happy" that's when I know that no matter what they will always put bens happiness first. As I pull back and stand beside Ben he grasps my hand tightly gives it a reassuring squeeze and smiles down at me mimicking my own expression. As they lead us through to a grand dining room I think to my self what did I ever do to deserve this.
