Hey guys! This is the third chapter! Sorry it's late I've just been busy and there may be a few grammar problems because I didn't have the time to look it over! If you find any just point it out to me that would be great!

"Hey, Lyra! You comin' to practice?" Kiko yelled.

I shut my locker slowly and slung my bag over my shoulder, fiddling with my new lacrosse stick.

"I don't know, maybe this isn't for me, Kiko. And I barely got any sleep last night, the whole Derek Hale think shook me up." I mumbled, ruffling my curly hair.

"Lyra, you have to go! Coach hasn't seen players like us in forever, I know this may seem kind of strange for you, but you're amazing, okay?! Everyone already loves you, this is just an added bonus. Now come on tiger, you can do this." The brunette said with a large grin.

"Alright." I said with a little smile.

"There ya go! You know I think we may have a Sciles thing going on here." Kiko said as we walked into the girls locker room.

"Sciles?" I asked as I opened my locker and began to change.

"Yeah, Scott and stiles, it's their brotp name." She explained as she began to put her shoulder pads on.

"Oh, that's strangely cute." I mumbled as I pulled my shorts on.

"Hey, Kiko?" I asked.

"Yeah?" She asked as she struggled with the laces on her cleats.

"I've kind of been noticing, there's something going on with Scott, and you." I said as I pulled my practice jersey on.

There was a sudden thud as I heard Kiko's cleat drop.

"Kiko?" I asked.

"W-what have you noticed?"

"You're both extremely sensitive to loud noises, you're incredibly fast with amazing reflexes, and last I checked Scott was benched all summer. You guys are experiencing the same thing as me." I said.

Kiko's head shot up and her body followed, her thin hands gripped my shoulders with surprising strength.

"You're going through this too?" She asked, her voice filled with urgency and curiosity, not unlike her brothers.

"Yes, ever since the first day of school."

"Me too! Do you know what's happening to us?" She asked.

"No, I wish. But...I think I met Life and Death." I muttered.

A silence ensued between us and I slammed my locker shut, tying my laces up quickly.

"J-just forget it, it sounds crazy and stupid I'm sorry." I growled.

"No, no, no, no, no!" She yelped out at hyper speed. "It's not crazy, because, I think I'm dead, Lyra."

"Dead?" I asked, slowly looking up at her.

"Yeah, I usually run cross country and we can wear heart rate monitors if we choose. So I put my monitor on and started my watch, and there was nothing. No heartbeat, no pulse rate, nothing."

"Maybe it was just the monitor?" I suggested.

"You see, I thought that too, so I tried four more. And none of them worked, nothing." She explained.

"So then I went to Scott's house and borrowed his mom's stethoscope. I put the plugs in and held the metal part to my chest. There was nothing, not a single beat, I couldn't hear anything. Here, I still have it!" She yelped and dug through her bag. She pulled the stethoscope out and handed it to me.
