"Oh god, I'm gonna be sick." Kiko moaned, clasping a hand over her mouth as she stumbled back.

My eyes remained locked on the dirty corpse, whose eyes seemed to be staring directly back at me, unwavering and accusing. A lump began to form in the back of my throat, one that I couldn't force to go away.

"Hey." A voice said, a large hand grasping my shoulder as I jumped.

"Are you okay?" Stiles asked as he turned me around.

I raised an eyebrow and stared at him for a few moments.

"Lyra?" He asked, not comprehending the look I was sending to him.

"Besides seeing the upper half of a murdered woman staring me in the eyes, I'm fine, a little cold." I shivered, rubbing my bare arms.

"Oh, h-here." He stuttered, yanking on the sleeves of his flannel, spastically trying to get the fabric off.

Once he finally removed it, he handed the flannel to me with a soft blush on his cheeks.

I smiled in thanks and shrugged it on. The shirt was huge on me, the sleeves coming down to the point only the tips of my fingers peaked out, and the edge of it covering my denim shorts. Curse my shortness.

But it was giving me warmth, so I was happy.

"Stiles, shouldn't we call your dad?" Scott asked, his voice shaking as he looked at the two of us.

"Yeah, yeah." Stiles agreed as he pulled his phone out.

"Where's Kiko?" I asked softly.

"Over here!" A weak voice called out.

"Kiko?!" I asked as I walked carefully in the direction of her voice.

"Yeah, down here." She mumbled.

I looked down into the edge of the treeline, and there she was. Brown curls tossed over her shoulder as her chest heaved with heavy breaths.

"Are you okay?" I asked, squatting down beside her.

"Yeah, I uh, kind of threw up." She said, her mouth closed as she took shallow breaths through her nose.

"It was the smell, I could smell it, it was ten times stronger than normal, and I could hear something." She mumbled.

"What did you hear?!" I asked as I gently helped her to her feet, her knees wobbling unsteadily.

"Screaming, blood curdling screaming, and howling. It was so loud it was like shards of glass puncturing my ears." She mumbled as she reached up, gently cupping her ears.

"Do you think...you were hearing her?" I asked slowly.

"Yeah, and god it was terrible."

The next morning, the four of us were back at the Hale house, watching as Derek Hale was escorted into a police car.

I sat on top of the hood of the powder blue jeep as Derek was pushed into the back seat, Scott and Kiko leaning against the front of the car.

"What is that idiot doing?!" A voice yelped beside me.

I looked up, confused, my eyes looking to Kiko.
