Chapter 6 Clara POV

I really have to stop doing that.Its getting old

My eyes fluttered open and I was met by Luke pinching the bridge of his nose and closing his eyes.

I know i should have asked question first, or at least told him i was conscious again. But thinking that the love of your life was dead was too much to handle. All that mattered right now was that Luke was alive and I was in his arms. So I did the only thing i had been thinking of doing this past year.

I kissed him.

I broke the kiss, then slapped him hard.

"I deserved that"

"yeah you did! How dare you disappear for a year. NO not disappear, DIE for a year. I thought that we had something good going on."

"Babe, i-"

"Don't you dare call me babe. I can't believe i actually love you!"

"I do love you and- wait. Did you say you still love me"

"I..no.. you... my head is all jumbled up and i am still trying to process the fact that you are still alive and. Wait? Is everyone else alive? Does this mean you have to kill me because i know you're alive. how do i."

He started to chuckle. Oh gosh how much i missed that chuckle. He started to walk toward me like a tiger stalks its prey.

"What are you doing? Luke, i swear if you get any closer i wil-"

"Clara, do you know how cute it is when you start to ramble?"

"Luke you are trying to distract me and i would much rather talk this-"

He kissed me lightly on the nose like he always did when i was nervous. "L-luke"

He kept peppering kissed all over my face except for my lips. "L-luke, you n-eed-eed to stop"

He started to trace down my jaw and kissed the spot right below my ear, then traced back up to my chin and forehead. He was being frustrating and he knew it based on the smirk he had.

"Gosh dangit" I couldn't take it anymore so i crashed my lips onto his and he gratefully responded.

"I knew you couldn't resist me Clara"

"I'm still mad at you ya know. But you still have a lot of explaining to do mister:

"I promise i will tell you but right now i want to be with y-"

A small beeping noise was coming from his watch. He glanced at it and based on the way he looked at it couldn't have been good.

"Luke.. what was-"

He kissed me but it was rushed and urgent. Then he was gone
