Hello!!! So I know it's been a few weeks since I've updated and I just wanted to say....I'm sorry. For those of you, who may be nonexistent, that actually enjoy this book and read it. I am awful at updating and I know it. Just saying it out loud makes me cringe and scream and cry all at once. I wish I wasn't, but I think it's because I know that this book isn't popular. And it very well could have been or could be because every book has potential. I have been contemplating on whether or not I should delete this book. I know I was excited at first and I had a good story line, but I don't have motivation. So if you enjoy this book, even if you don't hate it but you don't love it, please tell me. It can be through a comment or on my board, or heck even direct message me. No judging on my part, I promise. I truly do love writing but I just think that with wattpad, it can make you feel unmotivated at times and like you just want to shove your works in a dark corner and never look at them again. That's pretty much how I felt.. I guess it's just the pressure to update and the desperation to get votes and more reads. I have decided from this point on that I will read any books I find remotely interesting. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I am guilty of only looking at popular books with 100k votes or more. Even if the book seemed interesting by the blurb, I wold ignore that and move on if it wasn't popular enough. It honestly makes me feel like some high school bitchy popular kid who only glances at people she doesn't know. And for that I an truly sorry. I am so sorry to all those books and people I wouldn't even give a chance too and the thing is, some of them probably gained recognition and got a ranking on wattpad. And that is my fault. So for those of you who don't rack up as many votes as possible, just wait. If you are dedicated and patient it will happen. And for those of you who took the time to read this whole letter, I am eternally grateful. But for those of you who didn't, it's honestly fine too. As a lazy person, I am also guilty of skipping author notes despite the fact that they are labeled important. Yeah sorry about that guys..but anyways. I want to try something. I am making a promise to myself that from here on I will give every book on wattpad a chance no matter how many votes they have. I will use the hashtag #EveryBookMatters
It will be in my bio, so please put it in yours or just comment it wherever. I will look at any of you books you ask me to, just message me. Even if this hashtag doesn't make it big, I will still do what I promised and even add your books to my reading list. Maybe I'll even feature a book of the week on my bio...
To sum up my points (because I know you lazy fellows didn't read a word):
- I am unsure about whether to continue this book, so please tell me if you think I should.
- I know I am severely lacking at updating but that is mostly due to my lack of motivation.
- I want to start a hashtag #EveryBookMatters to show that no matter how many votes a book has, it still deserves a chance as well as the author.
Thank you all so very much and it might help if you tell some of the well known authors of wattpad (try one of my favorites: katrocks247..I hope that's right) This will help spread the hashtag because of their large number of followers. Even just putting it in your bio makes a difference.
I will return to watching PLL and ignoring my homework now.
