Katniss Everdeen, swimming, right in front of us. Cato and the pack start running towards her. I run too of course. She runs into the forest. We start chasing her down. Oh poor Peeta. I don't show any emtion on my face though. But I'm crying inside, hoping she'll run away!
We find her climbing up a tree. I can't think. I can't focus. Cato is yelling stuff at her and she's talking, well her lips are moving. I am rushed I don't know what to do! Glimmer shoots a few arrows but she's weak. Like alot. Cato can't climb. Peeta yells out," Let's just wait! She'll have to come down sometime!"
Thank goodness he said that.Or else Cato would've made me do it. I never miss a target with knives. We go gathering wood and we make a fire. It's getting dark really fast. Probably the game makers.
We sit around the fire. Some of us are awake like me and Peeta, but others are asleep. I slowly begin to close my eyes. feeling a cool breeze pass over me. I open my eyes again one last time, and I see Peeta still awake. Looking at Katniss. My eyelids gently close... And I doze off.
