3 hours later Lillian fell asleep on the couch watching T.V., so I went outside and prayed that Tyler was out there too. I climbed up my tree with my guitar, and sung a few songs. Then I started to sing, ‘’Oh Tyler, where are you, I need to talk to you, please come, please come.’’ I waited for a minute then said, ‘’Oh why me, why do I have to be the one with a friend who almost kissed me 3 hours ago, and now I have to talk to him and he’s not here?” I was sitting there in the tree for a couple minutes until I heard someone walking, ‘’Tyler?’’ ‘’Yeah, its me.’’ I jumped down out of the tree, ‘’Um, hey.’’ He looked like he’d been crying, ‘’Hey.’’ ‘’Are you ok?’’ ‘’Yeah, why?’’ ‘’Oh, cause you looked upset earlier.’’ ‘’Oh, uh, yeah.’’ I walked farther into the field, ‘’Come on.’’ He followed me, I sat down on the ground and motioned for him to sit. When he sat down it was quiet for a minute before he broke the silence, ‘’You know about what happened earlier, I wasn’t, uh, you know.’’ I looked down sadly, ‘’Oh.’’ ‘’I mean if-‘’ I cut him off before he could finish, ‘’Yeah let’s just pretend like nothing happened, like none of that means anything to either of us,’’ I said annoyed. ‘’Look Danielle, I know that you want answers to what happened, but it would make everything worse for both of us.’’ ‘’And how do you know that, maybe it will make things better,’’ I snapped. ‘’I’m sorry, I just can’t tell you.’’ I stood up, ‘’Well you know what, your making things worse by not telling me,’’ I yelled. I started to walk off, and he got up, ‘’Danielle, come back, please,’’ I was ignoring him, ‘’Danielle, please don’t leave me, I’m sorry, I need you,’’ when I heard that I stopped, ‘’Please, I can’t live with knowing your mad at me, I’m so sorry.’’ I could hear the pain in his voice, I turned around and walked up to him, ‘’Then tell me.’’ ‘’Can you just trust that you don’t need to know, and you’ll be perfectly fine without knowing?’’ ‘’Tyler, please.’’ He took my hand and walked back to where we were, and he sat down and I did too, he looked me in the eyes and said, ‘’You will know someday, I promise.’’ I sighed, ‘’Ok, fine.’’ He smiled and leaned closer to me, ‘’So, where were we earlier?’’ ‘’What?!’’ ‘’I’m kidding, I’m kidding.’’ ‘’Aw man.’’ ‘’I mean, if you want to.’’ ‘’Are you serious?’’ ‘’I’m kidding, I swear.’’ ‘’Yeah, me too.’’ We stayed out there and talked, I fell asleep and Tyler noticed, so he took his chance and kissed me on the cheek, then kissed me on the lips, and whispered I love you. He just laid there watching me sleep, because it could be the first and last time he had the chance, then he heard someone, ‘’Dani wake up, someone’s coming.’’ I got up, ‘’Bye Tyler.’’ ‘’Bye Dani,’’ then he came over to me and hugged me, then left. I ran to the house and saw Lillian standing there, ‘’Oh there you are.’’ ‘’Yeah.’’ ‘’Come on inside, it’s getting cold out.’’ We went inside and ate, then went to bed.
