The last day All of our friends counted down till the last bell rang for our grade, most of our friends are 6th, but Austin is the only 8th grader, I’m sad that I won’t see him every day anymore. But there was a 7th grader that came here about a month ago, Justin, he’d been hanging out with us, he was actually pretty cute, and believe me on his first day all the girls were chasing him around. ‘’10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, schools out,’’ we all yelled. Everyone was talking, me and Justin were the only ones not talking to someone, I looked at him on the other side of the hall, he looked up at me and smiled, he walked over to me, ‘’So, what are you gonna do this summer?’’ ‘’I don’t know, I’ll probably practice my tricks.’’ ‘’Tricks?’’ ‘’Oh, I haven’t told you yet, I’m practicing my horse tricks, I want to join the Sweethearts.’’ ‘’The Texas Sweethearts!’’ ‘’Yeah, dumb idea right?’’ ‘’No, they’re really good, you must be good if you want to join them.’’ ‘’I don’t think so, but ask Lillian she’ll tell you.’’ He took something out of his pocket and handed to me, ‘’Here, take this,’’ he handed me a piece of paper and I was opening it to read it, ‘’No, wait tell you get home to read it.’’ ‘’Ok.’’ Lillian walked up to me, ‘’Hey, are you ready to go home?’’ ‘’Yeah, bye Justin.’’ ‘’Bye Danielle.’’ ‘’Please, call me Dani.’’ He smiled and looked at the ground, ‘’Ok, bye Dani.’’ We got home and me and Lillian went outside, ‘’So, what were you and Justin talking about?’’ ‘’Oh, not much, he asked what I was doing this summer.’’ Then I remembered the note, I took it out of my pocket, and read it Justin B - 657-9840 ‘’What is that?’’ ‘’Justin gave me his number!’’ ‘’He did, are you gonna call him?’’ ‘’No, I’m gonna ignore that he gave it to me, yes I’m gonna call him.’’ ‘’Let’s call him now!’’ ‘’No we’ll call tomorrow.’’ ‘’Fine then.’’ I ran outside to call Justin, I dialed his number, ‘’Hello?’’ ‘’Hey Justin, it’s Dani.’’ ‘’Oh, hey, what’s up?’’ ‘’Not much, um, how about you come over, we could, uh, hang out.’’ ‘’Yeah, cool.’’ ‘’I live at 2345 Norwich Rd.’’ ‘’Oh, I live like a few houses behind you.’’ ‘’Ok, see you in a minute.’’ I was in my tree waiting and I heard him coming, ‘’Danielle?’’ he walked in front of my tree and I slid out of the tree, and jumped on his back, ‘’Boo!’’ ‘’God Danielle, you freaking scared me.’’ I laughed and got off him, ‘’so what do you wanna do?’’ ‘’Well, I wanted to ask you something.’’ ‘’What?’’ ‘’I’ve wanted to tell you for a while, but, I have an insane crush on you, and I was wondering, if you liked me back.’’ ‘’Wow, I didn’t expect that, um, you’re pretty cute, and funny, so I’d say, yes,’’ I smiled. He smiled, ‘’Can I, kiss you?’’ I smiled, then leaned into him and kissed him, ‘’Hey, can I call Chase and Lily, we could go in the pond over there?’’ ‘’That sounds cool.’’ ‘’Ok,’’ I got my phone and called Chase and then called Lily’s phone. They were out here in five minutes, the boys took their shirts and shoes of then ran and jumped into the water. We were outside for about four hours, Justin came up to me and sat next to me, he leaned over and kissed me, ‘’Oh my god, Danielle, you and Justin, are, are together,’’ Lillian freaked out. ‘’Duh, and stop freaking out.’’ Me and Lillian didn’t get in the water we just sat and watched, ‘’I gotta go guys,’’ Justin said. ‘’Yeah me too,’’ Chase said. ‘’Ok, bye guys,’’ me and Lillian said.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Justin?
