I woke up, got dressed and then woke Lily up. We barely talked getting ready, ‘’Lily, I’m going to the bus stop early.’’ ‘’Ok, I’ll come with you.’’ ‘’Ok.’’ We walked and waited about 10 minutes before the bus came. I got on the bus and Tyler was sitting with Jason, the bus driver must have picked him up first. So me and Lily sat together, it was really quiet. When we got off the bus I went straight outside to walk, while Lily went with Jason to eat. Tyler ran up next to me and said, ‘’Hey,’’ he was acting really happy. ‘’Hey,’’ I said quietly. ‘’What’s wrong?’’ ‘’Nothing, why?’’ ‘’I don’t know, you seem sad or something.’’ I smiled, ‘’See, I’m not sad.’’ He laughed, ‘’Your c-, I mean uh, funny.’’ I raised my eyebrow, ‘’Oh really.’’ ‘’Uh, yeah,’’ he looked nervous. When we were walking he was really close to me, and it made me nervous, but at the same time I liked it. When we were in the classroom Mrs.Jackson asked if any of us were going to be in the talent show, I looked at Lily and raised my hand and so did she, ‘’Danielle and Lilian, you’re going to be in the talent show?’’ ‘’Yes,’’ me and her said in unison. ‘’Ok, well go on down to the music room then.’’ We walked to the music room and Mrs.Stacy saw us, ‘’Are you all here to try out for the talent show?’’ ‘’Yes,’’ I said. ‘’Ok, what will you be doing?’’ ‘’We are singing D.N.A. by Little Mix.’’ ‘’Ok, do you have the CD?’’ ‘’Yes,’’ I handed it to her, ‘’It’s number 7.’’ ‘’Ok, go up on stage and do your act.’’ We walked up on stage and I asked Lily if she remembered her parts, ‘’Yeah, I do Leigh-Anne and Jades parts.’’ ‘’Ok.’’ We sung it and Mrs.Stacy was blown away, ‘’Are we gonna be in the talent show?’’ ‘’Of course you’re going to be in the talent show, that was amazing!’’ She sent us back to class, when we walked in Mrs.Jackson asked, ‘’Did you get in?’’ ‘’She said we were amazing.’’ ‘’Oh really, that’s awesome.’’ I went and sat down at my desk, Tyler whispered, ‘’Good job ba-‘’ ‘’what, ‘’I whispered. ‘’Nothing.’’ After lunch we went to recces, me and Lily were talking about the talent show while Jason and Tyler threw rocks at each other and roughhoused. We went inside, and after we sat down I saw Tyler staring at me from the corner of my eye, and it made me nervous. We went to the bus and Tyler was sitting across from me staring, and I looked over at him and saw him staring, my face turned red and he laughed. All through the bus ride he was staring at me, and when my stop came he winked at me when I was getting up, and I blushed even more, he just laughed. I went in the house with Lily and we worked and practiced on our song until it got really late, and until we were positive we perfected it.
