The New Whisker

One Year Later

Phil's P.O.V.
One year has passed since we adopted Amy. She has grown a lot since last year. Today we're making a small party to celebrate her birthday. She has two little fangs on her mouth now. She's so adorable, I'm not even kidding, we took her shopping once and she didn't stop saying 'kitty' in the store. She is also super fun. She loves watching Dan play video games and like it when I show her my video 'Shelter' I think she likes Thor the most, he was the only one who wasn't adopted. My favorite moments are when Dan is carrying her, and rocking her back and forth. Dan's eyes almost shine when he sees her. We took her on tour and our phans went wild! Some of our friends congratulated us and played with her, some even gave her presents. Tyler gave her glasses like his, PJ said that one day he would film a video with her, Connor gave us a very good photo of her--he is the master of photos-- and I gave her a small plant, who we named Thor.

Today we're making a small party with only Dan, Amy and me. Dan and I got her a doctor who TARDIS and a Whisker necklace, which we made especially for her, it has a photo of all of us. I can't help but think that someday when she is the ultimate vampire queen --cause she will-- Dan and me will still be growing old while she won't. The website says she will become full fledged at the age of 14. Then she'll grow until the age of 18 and that's how she'll stay forever; I can't help but think that me and Dan will grow old and we won't be able to take care of Amy forever. There has to be a way that we can stay the same and not die for some years.

I get of from the couch and go to Dan's room, but stop and remembered that he was filming a video. I turn around and go check on Amy. She's playing on the ground with a Totoro plushy.
"Kitty!" She points at me and laughs, then continues with her game. I sit down next to her while she plays. Her brown hair, pale skin and blue eyes made her beautiful.
I needed to go pick up the cake. I got up and went to go get the keys.
"I'm going to go get the cake!" I shouted at Dan. "Cheesecake, right?"
"Yeah!" I nod and leave.

As I walk through the city I see a girl approach me, she's about twelve. She has a wide smile on her face, she has brown hair and green eyes.
"You're AmazingPhil!" She sounds very excited.
"Yeah I am, do you watch our videos?" She nods excitedly. "Do you like them?" I ask gently. She seems very happy. Her mother is in the back smiling.
"Um yeah!" I chuckle at her. "Can I take a picture please?" She gets her phone out, her mother shakes her head.
"Sweetie leave the man alone, he's probably busy" I shake my hand and smile.
"No no I'm not in much of a hurry" the girl giggles and takes the picture.
"Thanks, cmon then Amy" the girl runs back to her mother. They leave and the girl shows the picture to her mum. Her name was Amy? It gives me a warm feeling inside. I keep walking and arrive at the shop.
"One cheesecake please, we ordered it yesterday." I say while I take out the money.
"Name?" The lady says with a smile. She's very pretty. She has blond hair with gray eyes. She lightly tanned skin.
"Lester, Phil Lester" she nods and checks her computer.
"Here it is, a cheescake, for Phil Lester. It will come right up." I nod and look at the ground for a second. There's an awkward silence before the cake finally arrived, I open the box and it has some jelly red whiskers. I didn't order the red whiskers?
"Um excuse me-" the lady stops me.
"The whiskers? I had them made, I'm a fan of your videos" I smile.
"Really?" I ask still a bit shocked at the sudden revelation. "Thanks" I say happy. I pay and leave very happy with the cake.

Dan's P.O.V.
I finish recording and go get a snack. I hear a thump and I hear Amelia cry. I rush to her room and find her crying on the floor. I check her face for scratches, then I see her hand has a small bruise. I shake my head. I grab and put a small cream on it. She stops crying and continues to play with her plush toy.
"Phil should be back by now..." I say a bit mad. I hear the door open.
"I've got cake!" I hear him say happy. I let out a half sigh half laugh.
"God, you took so long" he shrugged and went to put the cake on the table. I open the cake to take a peek and see whiskers. Omg. My life is complete.
"I know right, the lady was a fan of our videos and had them made." Lucky. I go get Amelia from her room. I carry her to her high chair. Phil puts a candle on the cake and lights it up. We put a happy birthday song on and start clapping pathetically.
We finish the song and help Amelia blow out the candles. She laughs and grabs a piece of cake with her hands. I quickly pull the cake away from her and cut a proper piece. I give it to her while Phil cute some pieces for us. Amelia laughs and eats the cake with her hands, which makes me cringe.
"No no no Amelia, with the spoon" I say hopelessly.
"Cmon Dan, let her eat the cake like that" I laugh in defeat and start eating the cake, while Amelia makes a mess.
