I was talking to my brother last night, and semi-explaining RvB to my three little sisters, when I noticed something that Roosterteeth had done with the series.
The original Church, who turned out to be Alpha in Season 6, 'died' in season 6 along with all the other AI's except for Epsilon.
Spoilers ahead...
Then Epsilon became the one they called 'Church' from season 7 to season 13, where Epsilon basically committed suicide to save the Reds and Blues.
End Spoilers.
And then it clicked for me.
Alpha had been around from seasons 1-6, a total of six seasons, and Epsilon was around from season 7-13, which is also a total of six seasons.
Whether this is coincidental or not, it leads me to wonder if there will be another Church from seasons 14-20 (if they make that many) and he will meet a demise of some form that isn't an EMP (Alpha) or defragmentation (Epsilon).
Did anyone else ever have this thought or realise this?
