Red vs Blue

This post is about why all of the main characters in Red vs Blue don't have a face-reveal except for Carolina.

(So if you haven't started or completely finished Season 9 and 10 (and Seasons 11-13), I'd recommend that you stop reading now.)

If you ignored me, it's your own stupid fault.

And now, on with the post.

So, I'm pretty sure that everyone reading this knows the scene at the end of season 10 when the Director's eyes are revealed to be the same as Carolina's, who everyone had seen for the past two seasons but the Director's eyes were always cut off. I think that the whole reason for Carolina having a face-reveal, but wasn't killed off during the series, is to make that point in Season 10 all the more heart felt. (Because it then took me the next three seasons and many fan-fictions later to figure this out. I suck.)

And if we look at all the other main characters from the Project Freelancer arc and the Chorus Trilogy, only the characters with face-reveals in Project Freelancer died and Doyle and Felix were the only new main character to die in the Chorus Trilogy along with Epsilon Church and possible the former Chairman of the Over-Sight Sub-Committee.

Even Washington (or Washingtub, depending on who you ask) didn't have a face-reveal. The only thing that we know about him is he has yellow-blonde hair and quite light skin from an episode in Season 9 when they are talking about something to do with the A.I's. Maine also only has the back of his head shown.

And then you look at the whole Blood Gulch crew.

None of them have ever died (except maybe Church) and they've been involved in many battles that should have killed them.

They must all be pretty damn lucky.

I also know that there were many other characters in the Blood Gulch Chronicles who died and didn't get face-reveals, like Cap. Flowers (Florida) and the Zealots as well as Lopez constantly losing his body.

It really only became prominent from about Season 9 onwards.

But still, they killed quite a few characters off prior to their face reveals, such as North, South, York, C.T, Maine, the guy who took on C.T's name, Sharkface, the Insurgent chick from Season 9 that Maine killed, Aiden Price (Counselor dude.) and many... many... many others.
