Chapter 3

"Leah! Get in here!" I jerked out of recharge, my holoform rushing into the house.
"What is it?"
"Epps is alive" my mother told me as my father hurried to pull on his military uniform "there were a couple of survivors from the attack, they want Will to lead the team to retrieve them" my dad kissed my forehead before hurrying out of the house and towards the local base.
"What time is it?" I yawned
"3 am. You won't be able to get back to sleep will you?" She asked knowingly.
"No, and neither will you"
"We'll just had to wait it out" she said, settling down on the sofa and motioning for me to sit next to her. It was always hard when dad suddenly left on missions, and now was worse than ever.

Three hours later we were informed that my father and Epps were safely heading back to US airspace.

"Sam?" I asked, startled to see my friend face plant into the sidewalk, falling from his mother's bike.
"Wow, that was awesome" Mikaela said sarcastically
"Help, I'm being chased by Satan's Camaro" Sam yelped, looking fearfully behind him.
"What?"
"My car, it's alive!"
"Sure it is Sam" Mikaela said
"What do you mean?"
"I mean it transformed into a gigantic robot!" Sam screeched. My eyes bulged, his car really was a cybertronian? "Oh no here it comes!" Sam took off on foot, fleeing the yellow and black car driving along the road.
"Come on" I said to Mikaela "someone needs to keep him out of trouble" I ran away from her, once I was out of sight around the corner I disengaged my holoform and drove to where I had been.
"Leah? Where did you go?" Mikalah was standing on the path confused
"Here" I said, holoform pushing open the door "come on" she got in and I sped off, following Sam and the unknown cybertronian.

"Sam! There you are. Where did it go?" I asked once we caught up with Sam in an abandoned warehouse like space.
"You're crazy" Mikaela said. Sam opened his mouth to answer us but screamed instead. The police car from a week ago transformed. I was right, it was a cybertronian. He approached us and was tackled by a yellow mech.

Sam and Mikaela fled but I stayed, I didn't want to reveal myself with humans here but I decided I didn't have a choice when the black mech threw the other one to the ground and pointed a cannon at his head. Transforming I tackled the black mech.
"Stop it, now" I ordered, aiming my own cannons at both mechs. The black one stared at me before transforming and driving away.
"Who are you?" I asked the yellow mech "are you the car Sam bought? Why are you here? I've never met another cybertronian before, why were you two fighting? Where did he go?" The mech made a whining sound in his throat.
"XM Satellite One"..."Digital Cable brings you"..."Columbia Broadcasting System"
"You talk through the radio?" I asked "is your voice damaged?"
"Thank you, you're beautiful! You're wonderful, you're wonderful."
"Is your name actually Bumbelbee?" He nodded "cool, I'm Shayleah, but my friends call me Leah"

"Oh my god what was that thing?" I head Mikaela's voice and froze.
"Slag, they don't know about me, you can't tell them" I ordered, transforming back into my alt form and engaging my holoform.
"Are you Japansese?" Sam shouted at Bumblebee
"Angels will rain down like visitors from Heaven! Hallelujah!"
"Visitors from heaven? So you're like, an alien?" Mikaela asked and he nodded.
"Oh my gosh Leah are you alright?" Sam asked, noticing me for the first time.
"Yeah I'm fine" Bumblebee transformed into his alt form and opened his door.
"Any more questions you want to ask?"
"He wants us to get in the car" Sam said, Mikaela backed away, Sam looked her dead in the eye "fifty years from now do you want to be able to say you had the guts to get in the car?" Tossing her hair over her shoulder she climbed into the car, Sam sliding in behind her. The car drove off and I disengaged my holoform and followed.
