Chapter 2: The Nightmare

That night, Rebecca found a mattress and rested on the mattress and soon fell asleep.
Rebecca then woke up in an empty white room.
"Hello" yelled Rebecca looking around for someone.
"Hello, is anyone here?" Rebecca yelled again and tried to walk, but she couldn't move.
Rebecca tried to at least move one foot, but it wouldn't budge.
Then a flash of light came from the corner of Rebecca's eye.
A young women wearing a white dress, short brown hair and had a glowing stone in her hand.
Rebecca froze not looking at the women.
"Don't be alarmed, if your scared you can't move" spoke the women, she had a soft and comforting voice that started to calm Rebecca down.
Then Rebecca took one step and she started to walk.
"How, how did you know that I had to calm down to move" Asked Rebecca as she walked over to the women.
"Hehe, my names Princess Elise and I'm here to give you and tell you something" spoke Elise as she walked up to Rebecca.
"What is it, princess?" Asked Rebecca as she bowed her head in respect.
"I'm here to tell you, that you have the power of the 7 chaos emeralds" Spoke Princess Elise.
Rebecca stared at Princess Elise in shock.
"I..I have the power of the 7 chaos emeralds, how...how?" Questioned Rebecca still looking shocked.
"Well, I'm still not sure how you got your powers, that's for you to discover, but I'm also here to hand you MY chaos emerald" Spoke Princess Elise as she showed Rebecca her emerald.
The emerald was shiny and a dark blue colour, Rebecca starred at the gem, she had never seen anything like it before,
"Wh...why are you giving it to me?" Questioned Rebecca as she looked back at Princess Elise.
"Because Rebecca, you have had a change of heart, and this gem really belongs to you"
But before Rebecca could speak another word Princess Elise put the blue gem in Rebecca's hand.
Rebecca looked down at the gem. Then all of a sudden it started to disappear.
"Huh, where is it?" Then Princess Elise pointed to Rebecca's neck.
Rebecca looked at her neck to find a necklace.
The necklace had a leather band and it was holding a gold gem which had a blue wrong in the gold gem and 6 more spots waiting to be filled.
"Wait, what about the other gems?" Questioned Rebecca as she starred back at Princess Elise.
"Those are for the other chaos emeralds, you can find the other chaos emeralds at Nightingale High" Spoke Princess Elise.
"WHAT, I can't just pick up and leave for another school, my dad will kill me" yelled Rebecca as she then started to freak out again.
"Rebecca, ask yourself, do you really want to live in this place, always being locked up?, or do you want to be free?" Levering that question for Rebecca to think about Princess Elise then vanished, levering Rebecca in the white room.
Then Rebecca woke up, to find herself back in the basement.
Then Orbit and Cubot came rolling into the basement at through cleaning materials at Rebecca.
"You are to clean, the, kitchen" Spoke Cubot in a robot like voice.
"What why?" Asked Rebecca as she picked up the cleaning materials.
"Because master said so" Answered Orbit as him and Cubot pointed to the basement door, telling Rebecca to get to work.
Rebecca just rolled her eyes and walked out to the kitchen.
It was 2:00 in the morning when Rebecca started to clean, then at 7:30 she finally finished the kitchen and saw Dr Eggman coming into the kitchen.
"Ah, well done" Gracefully spoke Dr Eggman as he looked around the kitchen.
"Oh thanks dad I..." Rebecca was interrupted by Dr Eggman starting to speak again.
"Orbit and Cubot are well behaved robots"
When Dr Eggman finished speaking Rebecca got really mad for her father not seeing the work SHE did for about 5 and a half hours.
Rebecca got so mad that the mop she was holding, she snapped it in half with her knee, through the pieces of the mop at Dr Eggman, then ran to her room.
Rebecca sat on her bed, angry at what her father said, then Rebecca remembered the necklace with the chaos emerald and the school Princess Elise suggested for her to go to.
Rebecca quickly grabbed her computer and started to type up the school on Google.
Rebecca soon found the school, she sent the school a letter about coming to the school, the school then wrote a letter back faster then you could say Chaos, the letter said that they were thrilled to have Rebecca at there school and the letter also said that the first week was mufti, so you didn't have to wear the school uniform.
Rebecca then closed her laptop and thought.
"Tonight, I'm going to sneak out and go to that school, and no one will stop me"
But Rebecca didn't know that Metal Sonic was listing from the door, Dr Eggman gave Metal Sonic the ability to read minds, so Metal Sonic ran to tell Dr Eggman.
