Heya guys so hopefully I've updated this relatively soon and I'm glad so many of you have stuck by me when it's been months and months and months so thankyou all very much. This story hopefully won't last more than 45 chapters (and that's maximum) because I've been hoping to start other stories and I've realised I didn't have a very clear idea at what I was going to do with this book but I will with the next one and that's a promise. Anyways I don't think I ever commented on Star Wars: The Force Awakens but just wanted to say how absolutely amazing it was and it had so many good actors and there wasn't really too much CGI. I went to go see it again the other day and I'd love to hear your theories. Anyways here is chapter 23 of Lost Heroes...
----------------------------------------------"If we're going to save this galaxy I have a feeling we should watch the movies. I know we started watching the third and Jaina stopped you but that was before she, well we, knew we had to change the future for the sake of Luke, Leia and the rest of the Galaxy. I'm truly sorry Mara if you and Luke never get together in the end because I know you love him very much but we need to do this and I think you understand that." Hayden said looking at Mara with a look of determination on his face that Jaina hadn't seen in a while.
Hayden lost his little sister (Quinn) to cancer. She was only 11 at the time. And Hayden had been so determined to find a cure he spent most of his money on the finest doctors and even dated 2 different doctors to try and convince them to help here but as you know none of it worked. She helped Hayden become mostly formal again but she never saw this look on his face again until now and to her it was a truly beautiful thing, so much so that she could feel her eyes start to fill up with tears and her face went from her best poker face to a happy smile. It felt to her like her face was glow lay and radiating happiness. She reached out for his hand and whispered to him," I missed seeing you like this."
"Like what?" He replied with a confused look on his face.
"Happy and determined again."Hayden hadn't even realised the way he was acting and let out a small chuckle at the thought. "Yeah, I'm sure Jaime would be happy I'm finally putting my determination to good use. Well she wouldn't think it's to a good cause she hated Star Wars."
Jaina laughed at that remembering the time she dragged his little sister to watch Star Wars: The Phantom Menace in cinemas.
They then realised the other three in the room were staring at them with slight confusion. "Um anyway I agree with Hayden we should all sit down and finish watching the movie. It won't be pleasant, at all actually. I cry nearly every single time I watch it and I don't (or didn't) even personally know the people in it so it will be hard to watch." Jaina said ignoring the looks they were being given. They saw that it was a sore subject and let Jaina's (sort of) subject change stay.
"I know I'll be able to handle it if it helps our galaxy." Ahsoka replied confidently.
"Me too." Obi Wan said afterwards
"And me." Mara replied stepping forward to join the horizontal line they had unconsciously created.
"Great, I'll go get the disk and put it back in the to if you go an-" Hayden started but was cut off by the sound of the Star Wars soundtrack coming out of Jaina's left pocket.
"Oh that's just my phone, excuse me for a minute." She says her cheeks turning slightly pink. Hayden smirked at that. She looked extremely cute when she blushed.
"If you go and get Padmé and Anakin," he finished," oh and make sure to knock before going in." He then winked and ran to his room where all the disks were stored leaving a slightly blushing togruta and two smirking humans.
