Chapter 11

"What!?" Annabelle gasps, clearly shocked by what she'd just heard. "What do you mean CC and Ashley raped you?"

"That's exactly what I meant, Annabelle." I sigh. "CC wanted to celebrate his birthday before the guys went back on tour. So, they guys had an apartment rented while they stayed here for the trials and everything, and that's where we had the party. Everything was fun. I drank a lot more than I should, and I blacked out. When I woke up the next morning, I was naked and sore in multiple places lying next to a naked CC, who may I add asked me, while I was in the bathroom crying, if he could 'bang' my body again after everyone had plenty of time to sober up."

Annabelle asks me if I'd like something to drink. I nod. She gets up, hugs me, and leaves to get them. Once she returns, she has two glasses of sweet tea.

"You always knew it's my favorite," I say as I give her a slight smile.

"What's a sister for?" She smiles back.

I let another sigh loose. "Annabelle... CC wasn't even drunk when he... when he..." I wipe away the tears with my shirt sleeves. "He wasn't even drunk when he... took advantage of me. I had the boys sober him up before the party so he would be awake and able to remember it. Ashley was drunk, but CC was not. How could he do this? After knowing what I've been through?

"That's horrible, Genie." She hugs me and looks at me apprehensively, as if she wants to ask me something.

"Ask me anything you want."

"Genie... where was Andy? Or Jake? Or Jinxx? Where were they and why didn't they help you? Why didn't they stop them?"

"I... I don't know... I asked Andy where was he when I needed him, and he didn't have an answer for me. I don't know if I gave him a chance to or not really."

"Genie," she starts, "in my opinion, I think you should call Jake and Jinxx to get their scoop and whereabouts. Ask them where Andy was, if they know."

"That's a good idea. I think I'll do that." I take out my phone that is still blowing up with Andy's texts, calls, and voicemails and call Jake as soon as I can with all the interruptions. I put it on speakerphone as it rings.

"Genie?" Jake sounds surprised to have me call.

"I... I need you to listen to me. Hear me out, okay?" I plead.

"Anything."

"I broke up with Andy, and he isn't taking any of it well. He's actually taking it worse than I thought he would. I'd like it if you two would watch over him and make sure he takes care of himself. Make sure he's safe. I still love him, and if being with him was an option, I'd snatch it right up. But... I can't trust anyone right now. Not after what just happened. That's the second reason I called. I didn't ask you two where you were that night. Would it be too much trouble to tell me?"

"Not at all, Genie." He coughs. "I only had about three drinks. I don't start getting tipsy until about five. Jinxx was drunk off his a-"

"Language."

"English." He laughs and continues, "Jinxx was very drunk. He fell on me, and I spent an hour pushing him off so that he wouldn't get hurt. Then I repostioned him and put him to bed. Andy and I then went out to the store, believing that CC was putting you and Ashley to bed. In different spots of course. CC assured us that he could take care of you two. So, we left so I could help Andy pick up a nice necklace for you as a just because present."

"That's where he was?"

"Yes."

"I understand that you thought you could trust them, but why would you leave CC alone with two drunk people. That's a lot of work for just one guy."

"I agree. It was a dumb and tragic mistake that won't ever be repeated should you decide to come back."

"No, Jake. Don't be making plans for me to come with you guys. I broke Andy's heart, and when he's done trying to get me back, he'll hate me."

"With a love as pure as yours, Andy could never hate you."

"Well, thanks. Talk to Andy. Get him to go back to the apartment, and quit blowing up my phone. Tell him that I love him, but I'm sorry. That I'm so sorry."

"I will."

"Thanks. Bye."

"Bye, Genie." I wait until I hear the phone click, signaling the end of the call, to turn it off.

"Wow. Andy bought you a necklace? And he didn't get to give it to you..." Annabelle sighs as she holds me in a hug.

"I've decided something," I state.

"What would that be?"

"I'm going back to our house."

"What?! You can't go back there! Kellin Quinn lives there!"

"Who's he?"

"Charles' brother! If our father was capable of doing the things that he did, imagine what Kellin is capable of!"

"Andy wouldn't expect to find me there, and I need to get him to let go. So, I'll stay there a while." I stand up. "And I'm leaving. Now."
