Two Hours Later...
Andy leaves, finally giving up on getting me to answer the door, and the number of texts and phone calls decreases dramatically. I feel terrible for doing this, but it's what's best for Andy. Nobody deserves to get stuck with someone like me...
I pick up my suitcase and bring it down to the front door. Michelle offered to give me a ride back to my old new place after I called Kellin to make sure it was okay with him f I came to live in my old room. I already gave everyone four hugs goodbye. When I wipe my hands on my pants after setting it down next to the door. I decide to grab a water bottle while I wait on Michelle to pull the car around.
I return to the front door just in time to hear Michelle lay on the horn. I grab my suitcase and fling open the door. I look at Michelle and give her a signal to be quiet. I look down at the door mat on the porch, but I don't see the cute cat snuggling with a furry dog like usual.
There's a jewelry box with a note on it at my feet.
I stoop down, pick it up, and carry it with me to the car. I throw my suitcase in the backseat after putting the jewelry box on the dash.
I pick it back up, and the note reads,
Genevieve,
I'm so sorry that I couldn't protect you, but as Jake told you, we went out to buy this for you. That is where I was, and I should not have asked Jake to come with me. I should have gone alone. Or I should have stayed. I love you, and I would do anything to take that night back, but I can't. And, I hope, in time, you will be able to find the love and trust you need to want to be in a relationship. I respect your decision, but just know that I miss you. I don't understand why you decided to go if you say that it isn't about last night and neither do the guys, but they don't need to understand. But I promise you, that should you decide to come back, that we'll do it our own way with our own plans.
I love you, my precious Genie in a bottle.
Love,
Andy Biersack
I open the box, and inside, there is a beautiful open hearts necklace with diamonds inside. I start to tear up as I take it out of the box. I hand it to Michelle, turn slightly in the seat, and lift up my hair so that Michelle could fasten the necklace around my neck.
"I feel so awful." I start outright sobbing in my hands. "He went out to buy this for me, and... and I got raped again and broke his heart afterwards! I wish I hadn't ever gone to that concert!"
"Now, Genie...," Michelle says as she starts to drive toward my old new house, "you know you'll never mean that. Andy brought out the best in you, and you in him. I believe you two are forever connected in some way, maybe even meant for each other, but I will respect your decisions, even if I disagree with them."
"I want him back! I know it's only been a couple of hours, but I miss his warmth, and his smile, his laugh, his embrace, and his sweet, loving kisses! I miss him, but I'm no good for him!" I sob even harder as I see his name pop up as a call on my phone's screen.
"I feel like you two should sleep on it and talk to each other tomorrow."
"Will you answer and tell him that? I can't live with myself knowing that I broke his heart!"
Michelle takes my phone and answers. My call volume is so loud that I can hear both sides of the conversation.
"Genie? Thank You, God; she answered me," Andy breathes a sigh of relief.
"Actually, it's Michelle," she informs. I can feel Andy's hopes crash and start to burn.
"Oh..." I'm obviously still sobbing my heart out, and he hears my cries. "Is she... is she crying?"
Michelle sighs. "I think it would be good to spend the rest of today apart and then talk tomorrow. She feels terrible for what she did to you."
"Put me on speaker." Michelle does as asked, and Andy continues. "Genie, honey... Please don't cry. It absolutely shatters me to hear you cry. I just want you to be happy."
All I can say is, "I'm so sorry!" Over and over again.
"I want to see you tomorrow. Is that okay?"
"Y-yes."
"Okay. I'll text you tomorrow. Just remember that, no matter what happens, I will always love you."
"Me too.."
"Bye, Genie."
"Bye, Andy."
He hangs up the phone, and Michelle finishes the drive to my house as I cry in the passenger seat as loudly as I want.

Do you think they'll get back together?
What is Kellin going to be like?
Peace out, penguins!
