Carter let out a yelp as someone bumped into her, all her things scattering across the linoleum. She let out a huff of air and struggled to gather her things, cursing the sling on her arm.

"Let me help you."

"Yeah, thanks." She laughed, smiling lightly at the stranger who handed over her phone and Anatomy text book. "I'm Carter, I'm kind of new here."

"Theo." He gave her a wide and warm smile, helping her off the ground. "I think I followed you last night, actually."

"That's right." She nodded, starring down the hall with him. "This school is kind of hectic, I seem to have misplaced my girlfriend."

"Girlfriend?" Carter thought she detected a hint of disappointment in Theo's voice, but she just smiled.

"Yeah, her names Mal-"

"Hey!" Stiles rushed over and slung his arm around Carter's shoulders, his eye twitching as he stared at Theo. "I've been looking for you every where! Thanks, for uh, helping out my cousin, Miguelita."

"What the hell?" Carter asked, but the spastic boy was already dragging her away, leaving the angry Chimera in the dust. "Stiles?"

"Bad guy." He rushed out, shaking his head violently as he steered her down the hall. "Very, very bad guy. Like, killed Scott for fifteen minutes bad guy."

"Oh." Her eyes widened, mouth gaped slightly before leaving over and whispering in his ear. "Do you want me to kill him?"

"What?" He choked out, whipping his head around to stare at her. "No! Actually yes--maybe."

"Got it."
