↳ chapter two
a handsome face ↲the first night was more awkward then it needed to be, i mean sure my soon to be brother basically said he wanted to screw me but hey it could be worse.
dinner was quiet, david hood tried his hardest to make conversation but it died down fast. soon it was just david and kayla who talked the kids were silent.
the parents just believed it to be because the situation was all so new but in reality it was because they were becoming siblings in a few months and were attracted to one another.
they'd never admit it after that day, but they did.
after dinner david and kayla left to go get the rest of the girls things that were in storage, while calum and lexie stayed home.
alexa sat on the counter in the kitchen texting, while eating a bag of chips, a loud noise came from the hallway upstairs. she didn't think to much of it because she assumed it was calum.
the noise escalated, and then it stopped. suddenly someone was running down the stairs, and straight into a wall. a loud groan followed the sound of impact on the wall.
calum was at the bottom of the stairs now, breathing hard. he looked around to see if anyone was watching not seeing alexa in the kitchen. he sighed in relief and started to whisper to himself while looking in the mirror.
"calum you gotta be more careful, you're going to ruin the masterpiece, aka your handsome face." he fixed his hair while lexie began to giggle, calum looked back to see the brunette in fits of laughter.
"why are you here?" he spoke in sections, leaving silence after each word he said.
"i live here," she popped a chip into her mouth laughing once again.
"you didn't see anything right?" she shrugged.
"all i heard was yelling, which is why i laughed. you sound like a little girl." she poked his nose with her finger, calum smacked her hand away.
"good," he headed back towards the mirror and started fiddling with his phone. "i'm going out i'll see you later."
the teenager headed to the pantry and grabbed out a gushers holding her chips in her other arm.
"see ya," he stared down the girl, mostly looking at the snacks in her hand. she headed back up the stairs but turned around once she got to the first step. "oh hey calum."
he turned back around looking to the girl, "try not to ruin the masterpiece tonight." she winked at him, and he froze.
"lexie," he groaned like a child who hadn't gotten their way.
she flashed her phone for a second letting the boy catch a glimpse of the video playing on her phone. he recognized it, it was him.
she giggled before running up the stairs, calum chasing right after.
"hey privacy," she yelled through the door as he tried to get in.
"delete it."
"never." she walked away from the door, since she locked it, and sat on her bed turning her tv on.
"delete it," he yelled again.
"nope," she turned the tv up louder. "i think i'll post it on instagram." she mumbled.
suddenly it got quiet her tv was blasting, but she couldn't hear him anymore, she thought he had just left.
calum slowly unlocked the door alexa noticed once the light shown into her room, she stood up holding her phone over her head.
"i'll never give it to you."
calum stood next to the bed, he grabbed her waist throwing her over his shoulder. he did it with no struggle at all, she kicked and punched him but he didn't seem fazed. he threw her back on the bed and grabbed the phone out of her hand.
she jumped on his back, he held her up easily. he flinched when she got close to his neck, he put her back on the bed.
he looked around her room noticing the posters and designs.
"huh your music taste is good."
she snatched the phone from his hand once more, and smirked.
"i know."
claim tackled her to the bed, straddled over her body. her breath hitched, he was so close to her face. she started to panic her anxiety eating at her.
"my face sure is handsome, you're caught in a trance babe." she pushed him off, her face a light shade of pink.
"no all that movement just wore me out."
"movement?" he scoffed, "the most you did was kick." she rolled her eyes.
"whatever, go where you need to go."
"delete the video and i'll leave." she shook her head. he inched closer to her face and he tilted his face to the side going near her ear.
he softly whispered, "come on baby," the girl shivered the odd sensation she got was unbelievable to her.
calum smirked.
"fine," alexa stuttered she didn't really delete it but she made him believe that. "you realize i'm going to be your stepsister, you can't be calling me baby."
he sat on alexa's bad and pouted.
"why not, i mean we aren't related by blood."
alexa's eyes widened and she tossed a pillow at him, "not the point. go away." calum slowly walked out of the room making sure to keep eye contact with lexie the entire time.
"i'm going out now, i'll see you later." he walked out of the room, lexie sighed in relief that the boy was finally gone.
calum poked his head back in, "babe."
"calum!" lexie yelled tossing a pillow in his direction the boy laughed running down the stairs.
he was definitely going to enjoy this whole new living situation.
