Theo's Pov

It's been a long time since I have flown to London. This time I'm taking Shai. She is going to meet my family, and do some filming. My mom has been begging me to bring Shai, and we finally have a reason to go.
T0day, we are in Logan airport in Boston Massachusetts. I haven't been in this airport many times, but it is by far one of my favourites.
Shailene and I make it to our gate okay, no paparazzi, thank goodness. A few people here and there ask for an autograph, but nothing too crazy. This is one of the times that I prefer to fly at. In the middle of the day.
I suddenly stop in my tracks. It's not something that's blocking my way that is stopping me, it's what is not in my way.
A girl, around 12 or 13 sits on the floor near a rubbish bin. She has her head in her hands. Bouncy curly dirty blonde hair vibrates, as she is obviously crying. Her phone lays next to her, covered in her tears.
I look at Shai, then back at the girl and I sit next to the girl. Shai seems to get the message, because she sits on the other side of the girl.
"Hey sweetie. What's wrong? Where are you mom and dad?" Shai asks.
The girl lifts her head to reveal her red puffy eyes. If she hadn't been crying, she could be recognized as my kid, with the same chocolate brown eyes, her skin is fair. Her tear-stained cheeks are dotted with freckles. She wears a pink collared shirt, jeans, and blue Nikes.
"I-I can't find them." She studders.
"Did you call them?" I ask.
She turns her head to look at me. "Y-Yeah. I texted them and I-I called them. But they-they never answered." She lets out a sob.
I pull her close to me, and she puts her head on my shoulder. She relaxes and lets out all of her emotions onto my shoulder. Shai fishes out a tissue from her small purse.
"Here sweetie." She says, pushing the tissue into the girl's hands.
The girl's hands are shaking so much, that she can't even bring the tissue to her face. I take it from her, and lift her face. She stares into my eyes as I gently wipe away her tears.
"Thank you." Her raspy voice says.
"What's your name?" I ask.
"Angel. Angel Atterson." She quietly replies.
"Angel. I love your name." I say, and she smiles weakly. "Do you have your boarding pass, Angel?"
She nods and hands me her pass. I look it over.
"44 C to London England! You are sitting next to us!" I say. Shai doesn't like to sit in first class. "Tell you what Angel, we will introduce ourselves, but you mustn't tell anyone in this airport who we are. Okay?"
She nods without questioning me. Shai and I take off our beanies, sunglass, and Shai takes off her scarf. The girl looks up in awe.
"My name is Shai, and this is Theo. It seems like you know who we are." Shai says sweetly.
"Divergent actors. I'm a big fan. Sorry for crying. I'm probably interrupting your flight. I should go." Angel says standing up.
"Nonsense," I say grabbing her hand. "It's your first time flying, isn't it?" I say.
She nods. "Was it that obvious?"
Shai shrugs. "People tend to be overly emotional when they are nervous or scared. It happened to my brother, Tanner, when it was his first time flying."
"I guess that could be it. I'm also afraid of heights, if that makes a difference." Angel says.
"It makes the tiniest of differences. But that doesn't mean that you are just going to wander this airport all alone. If we can't find your parents, you are going to stay with us until you locate them. Okay?" Shai says.
"Okay."
Hey! One of my shorter chapters, but I'm back!!! Yep, school sucks. 🙃 Well anyway, do you like the new one shot so far? Angel is based off of me...
Have a magical day,
Alacazzam
