Music blared into my ears the moment I stepped into the bustling bar.
Sweaty bodies danced against eachother and alcohol burned my nose, but I reluctantly followed my friends further into the pit of grime and sweat.
When the waitress came around, I politely refused and watched as my friends sat around me with drinks in hand, slurring and chugging down the addictive liquid with an intensity I'd never quite been able to muster.
I could never hold my liquor well, and figured it better to just stay away. I knew once I started drinking, it was hard to stop. My eyes lazily scanned the room, watching in disgust at someone puking in the corner of the room. The noise was drowned out in the sea of people, but I could still imagine.
I jumped as a hand whacked my upper back harshly. "Joeee.." Marcus slurred. "Come ooon! Loosen up, bruh!" Alfie nodded, smiling huge and raising a beer to his lips.
I shook my head with an awkward smile. "Don't worry! You won't remember any of this tomorrow!" I yelled into his ear and pat his shoulder once, sliding out of my seat quickly. "I'm gonna get some air!"
Jogging away, I slipped past all the drunks and out the door, breathing in the night air with a sigh of relief. My hand automatically reached into my pocket and pulled out my cell phone. It read 00:54. I groaned and let my back slide down the wall, wrapping my arms around my legs tightly.
The air was biting cold. I ran a hand through my brown hair and let my head lean back onto to the cold brick wall, closing my eyes. I could faintly hear the beat of the music.
A car honk jarred me from my thoughts. I sighed, standing and walking slowly back inside the cramped space.
"Joe!" My sister Zoe waved me over from her current position perched on Alfie's lap with a margarita in hand. "Come on! Troye and Tyler said they would come! We're thinking of finishing this at home."
I nodded. "But I'm driving!" Everyone laughed, standing and following me to Zoe's car.
___We got home eventually after Marcus, Zoe, and Alfie were done screaming along to whatever song was playing on the radio. I opened the door to my flat, tossing the keys and taking off my shoes.
The others immediately raided the cabinets for liquor, which I was happy to spare since I didn't drink. I laughed to myself as I watched them laugh amongst themselves.
"I'm here!" The door burst open and Tyler flounced in, followed by an embarrassed Troye.
"Come join the party!" Alfie laughed. "We've got plenty of drinks!"
"Oh, Joe?" Tyler said suddenly, walking over to me with a slight grin. "I invited one of my friends."
I nodded. "Sure." I turned to see Alfie chugging a beer, which turned into a coughing fit. The air was filled with cackles from a nearby Tyler. I laughed and shook my head in amusement, standing at the sound of the doorbell ringing. The music was louder than ever, reverberating around with bass that shook the ground.
"Turn it down!" I yelled loudly and yanked open the door. My eyes widened as I stared up at the boy leaning on the doorframe. One arm in the back of neck, one in his pocket, blonde hair flaired up and slightly to the side.
"Um, hi." He said awkwardly. "I'm Caspar. Tyler invited me-"
"Oh, yea. Um, c-come in." I stumbled back in time for him to soak past me slowly, maintaining eye contact the whole time.
"Caspar! Hey!" Tyler yelled. "Come have a drink!"
He shook his head briskly. "I don't drink. Sorry."
I closed the door quietly and walked back to the corner, and was surprised to find Tyler following me. "Here! Losen up a little girl!" He shoved a shotglass into my hand, clinking our glasses and tipping his head back. I reluctantly followed, gagging at the bitter taste of vodka that lingered on my tongue. Caspar raised his eyebrows at me from across the room.
I set the glass down with a clink and walked over the the table with red solo cups, grabbing one with some sort of liquid in it. Guilt bit at the back of my mind, but I ignored it and downed the cup, already feeling the effects of my first shot.
"Hey everybody, this is Caspar!" Tyler yelled. A few people paused, turning to look and waving. Tyler turned to me. "Joe!" He waved me over and I walked towards him and the blonde boy. "Talk, bitches!" He pushed me towards Caspar and I stumbled into his chest, quickly backing up and clearing my throat.
"So, Caspar..." he looked up from the floor for a second and looked back down. "Um, are you in school?"
He swallowed, his Adam's Apple bobbing up and down. "Um, no. I decided not to go to college."
I nodded. "Me either. How old are you?
"21." He said softly. "You?"
"24." He gave a small smile. I picked up my cup and downed another gulp. "Where are you from?"
"South Africa." I took a seat at the counter and he followed pursuit. "My parents' house is there. I moved here when I was about 10." (A/N: I don't know if this is true, so sorry)
I nodded. "Troye is from there, too." I pointed at Troye, who was currently striking out at Just Dance on the Wii. "I'm from Wiltshire. So is my sister Zoe."
"Zoe Sugg? The YouTuber?" He asked incredulously. I nodded and gave a small laugh.
"Yep. The one and only. She's my older sister." I frowned when I realized the cup was empty. "He right back, I'm gonna go get some.. stuff."
"You're drunk." He laughed lightly. I grinned sheepishly and nodded. "You lightweight!"
"Just a bit." I stumbled over and filled my cup once again. I looked up and saw Troye and Tyler walking over.
"How's it going?" Tyler grinned. "You two sure look chumy!"
"Okay Louise." I slurred, laughing loudly. "He's...nice."
"And hot." Troye pointed out.
"And hot."
Caspar walked over, shoving his hands in his pockets. I could feel my face heating up slightly. "What's up?"
"I'm Troye." He introduced himself. "Well, Tyler, let's go." He pulled said boy away, ignoring his cries of protest.
"So, do you wanna see my flat?" He nodded quietly. I lead the way, annotating with a slurred voice.
"Here's my room and the extra room." He nodded again. For a moment, I let my eyes trace his tall figure, my eyes lingering a little too long on his pants.
"Joe?" He waved his hand in front my eyes, ripping me from a trance.
"Caspar, so you have a girlfriend?" I asked suddenly.
He shook his head embarrassedly. "Good." I nodded, leaning forward automatically and pressing my lips to his, which he responded to immediately, pushing back an equal force. His tongue licked my lips, begging for entrance which I granted with little thought. I felt a fire in the pit of my stomach that is never felt before, consuming my thoughts and coating them in lust.
Then, just as soon as it happened, he pulled away. "I-I'm sorry." He tripped on his own feet, stumbling up the stairs and out of sight.
I followed just in time to see the door slam closed. With a sad sigh, I flipped down on the sofa and me my heavy eyelids close, wanting nothing more than to wake up tomorrow with no memories of tonight.
A/N: So sorry, this chapter is poop. But it's up, next chapter will be up sooner.
