The rest of the Summer went by in a warm golden blur, and before they all knew it, they were back a Hogwarts again. For some strange reason, Harry had had a dream about a flying car as he napped on the train to Hogwarts. And upon relating his dream with Ron, they realised that they had almost had exactly the same dream.
"Weasley, Ginerva!" Harry watched as Ginny climbed the steps, her knees wobbling, and almost as soon as the hat touched her long red hair, it called out. "GRYFFINDOR!" And she ran off happily next to her brothers and Harry and Hermione.
It had been awhile since school started, and Harry was beginning to notice Ginny acting strangely. Sneaking around at night, not eating, and always looking tired. Once he thought he even saw her with blood on some of her fingers, but when asked she said it was nothing so he dismissed the topic. It was only after not seeing Ginny at Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner did he write to his Dad.
Dad,
Ginny's been acting strange recently. I haven't seen her eat anything in a week, and she always looks tired and unwell. Send me the map. Don't let Mum see this letter. If you don't send me the map, then I'll write Padfoot and he'll probably come to Hogwarts and search the whole castle. Please!Sincerely,
Harry. He tied the letter with a blue ribbon and gave Hedwig strict instructions about when to give it to and whom to give it to. Hopefully his Dad would do the right thing.
