"That was an, interesting discussion." Harry and Ginny were walking to the Great Hall, intent on getting breakfast.
"Yeah. It's strange, the idea that were the first people to be Bonded in three centuries! Can you imagine how much Hermione'll wanna study us?!"
Ginny let out a clear, happy laugh.
"Can you imagine Trelawney?"
Harry groaned, not even realizing before how terrible that would end up being.
"I could, but I don't want to."
She laughed again, tossing her hair. She smelled like apple orchards and vanilla ice cream.

"What?! And you didn't see a reason to tell me this before?!" The conversation in the Great Hall was slightly intense.
Hermione was angry that hadn't said anything before, and Ronald just looked confused as to what 'Bond' meant, even though he over heard the conversation two summers ago at the Burrow.
Ron set down his chicken leg.
"So, what you're telling me is, Harry-freaking-Potter is Bonded with my sister."
"Yeah. That's exactly what we're telling you."
"And you, can like, read each other's minds?!" They both nodded.
"So there are no keeping secrets from each other. Let's say I told you that Hermione snogged Dean Thomas, would Ginny already know?"
"Ronald! I would not very well snog Dean and you know it!"
"I know, just messing with you. Anyway, would she?"
"Well, I suppose, yeah."
"Remind me never to tell either of you anything." Laughter broke out among the four. Ron went back to eating the chicken, and Harry took a bite of his waffles. Immediately Ginny passed him some syrup.
"How did you know I wanted syrup, Gin?"
"I-I don't know. Maybe a new Bond thing?"
"Because knowing when I need syrup is super useful."
"Definitely." The rest of the meal was spent with laughter and random conversation, along with the Bonded occasionally passing each other stuff without talking.
Meanwhile, hundreds of moons away from Hogwarts Castle, a man with a twisting scar along his face laughed, for an evil plot, and evil twisted terrible plot, had just been finished.
