We got to the palace and in by the doors were 2 guards on each side. They were new because all my father's men had respect. These guys were my age or a couple years older,but what I didn't like was them checking every girl out. Once we got to the door, the guards were mesmerized by me and my girl friends.
"Have a great evening," one said to me," maybe later you and I can have our own time to dance."
"I don't think you won't to dance with this one." Lynn said,and I chuckled with a sparkle in my eyes. That surprised the guard and he started acting like a real gentleman.
Once we got inside the castle and to the ballroom that was off to the side, I stopped so I could remind them what the plan was.
"Ok, remember I keep Valor distracted." Claire said. " Auria stays in the ballroom with me and keeps my back."
"I can't believe you guys cut me out of the plan." I said.
"It's for your safety." Page said.
"Lynn and I will go to the dungeons and free the prisoners." Kait said. " and my Page will be our look out."
"But first we all have to go in the ballroom just so there's no suspicion." Page said.
"Ok, ready?" They said at the same time.
I smiled,"As ready as we can be." I said.
We walked up to the doors and a guard opened the door. I took a deep breath and stared at my home. This ballroom was my dance room and throne room, as I stared toward the thrones, I saw someone I recognized.
As if reading my thoughts, Claire said," Is that Aro?"
Before I could nod, Lynn said,"Oh,crap."
Yeah this was bad,and I mean really bad.
