We snuck through the back streets to a place of someone loyal to me. She had watched me grow up,dressed me for every party, and was like an aunt so to speak.
I looked at the back of the house, and knew that she didn't have any customers at this time. I knocked on the blue door with the green trim, which I had told her would look awesome, and I didn't regret it.
The door opened, and on the threshold stood a 30 year old plus some with light brown hair, and warm brown eyes. When she saw who it was, she threw her arms around me,and I hugged her back.
"Come inside." She said, and we all went inside and piled up in here living room.
"We need a favor." I said.
"What is it,dear?" She asked.
"We need costumes for the ball." I said.
"Who did he capture?" She asked, looking at my friends.
"Aro." I said, my heart constricting at his name.
"Ok, I'm glad some of my customers don't like what I make them." She said. "Come along."
It took her until the time of the ball to get us all ready, mostly because she dyed some of our hair, except mine. I told her it was ok if she did,but she said that she couldn't because it reminded her of my parents. She also did our makeup and hair,so it was perfect. I was the last down stairs and I looked around the room at my masked friends, who looked like royalty, like the Ladies and the Lord they were.
"You guys look great." I said, and they turned to me and gawked( literally.)
"You look like a princess." Claire said.
"I'm not the only one." I said.
"We don't compare to you." Page said, smiling.
"Lynn, remember you're escorting these ladies,so act like a gentleman." Mary said,(that's her name.)
"That isn't fair." He said." Page and Kait escort each other."
"Fine, but you still have to escort Auria and Claire." Mary said.
I walked over to him to and looped my arm through his, just as Claire did," Ready to crash a party?" I smiled like everyone else.
