Chapter 3

~Third person p.o.v.~

The group went back to the skele-bros' home, both Sans and (Y/n) were still shaken up from when they encountered Chara. (Y/n) it made them wonder why, how even is it possible for Chara to be there without a soul. It was the first time that Chara has ever come to the pacifist run so not only was (n/n) the only one wondering. Seeing this sudden event and noting his friend's curiosity, Sans grew more and more protective of (y/n) and papyrus. He's lost them both in the genocide run and he doesn't want to loose them again. Now with this problem, it triggered things for both (Y/n) and Sans. For (y/n) it triggered their curiosity and Sans's nightmares. Now that Chara's sudden appearance has startled the group (y/n) grew more and more curious about why they would come to the pacifist run. Desperate to find answers (y/n) snuck out of the house while Sans and Papyrus weren't looking.

~Sans p.o.v.~

I felt like I was going to have a panic attack, seeing Chara... That evil grin, hearing that dark chuckle was enough to rattle me. I desperately want to keep (n/n) away from Chara as long as possible until I can get answers to why they'd be here. I started walking upstairs and went my room, (y/n) was went up there once we got back. Though I didn't suspect that they had left; I went to check on them. Though once I got up to my room my eye sockets widened. The window was wide open, letting in the cold winter air from outside. Not a trace of (y/n) to be seen expect a note on my dresser, that wasn't there before. Not caring what the note said right now I ran over to my open window and looked around out side. "(Y/n)?!" Panicked I then looked at the note on my dresser and ran over to read it.

Dear Sans,
        I have to find out why Chara is here. I know you want to keep me safe but keep a eye socket out for yourself okay? Papyrus needs you here and I know he wants me to be safe but would Chara really hurt me? I know they probably would but I want to find out on my own. You need to keep your brother and everyone safe until we find out why Chara is here.... Please... Stay safe Sans.... And please....don't let me....RESET...

"Damn it (Y/n)!" I put the note in my pocket and practically ran out of my room and down the stairs. This of course startled my brother since I'm usually never like this.

   "Sans? What seems to be the problem? You've been so paranoid since that other human showed up." My soul ached with grief, how could I have let the kid out of my sight like that? I lost Frisk, papyrus and everyone, now I might lose another friend and someone I cared deeply about.... (Y/n)... True I knew they could always reset but I remembered when frisk did that and used the safe files they vanished... I don't want to lose anyone else.... But how do I stop something when I don't know how?

  "N-nothing pap, just feelin' a little rattled right now." Of course I didn't tell Papyrus that the kiddo left, he'd be heart broken especially since he was making spaghetti for everyone... I closed my eye sockets and smiled at him. What I didn't know is how long could I keep up a lie...

A/n: Okay I finally got this out. I hope it's okay and not to confusing. I'm glad that your enjoying my book. Um also I wanted to ask a question. Should I include different Au's? I thought it would be a cool idea to add other Au's and have adventure threw out the multiverse. Please let me know if it sounds like fun.
