Day 2 of being stuck on a garden shed with Addy. Stuck without food, water, and no weapons. What kind of gardening shed doesn't have any time of gardening tool whatsoever? I thought to myself. I looked at Addy, and I could automatically tell that she was beginning to become dehydrated. I was as well, but not as bad as her. Addy had been my girlfriend for the last couple of months. She had lost her boyfriend of three years, Mack, and I had lost a very close friend as well. We had both lost someone, so we knew how it felt to be alone. The first time we met, we had connected. It's ironic how whenever you're close to death, you think of all the important things in life that you had never really thought about before. I moved closer beside her, and pulled her into my arms. "We're going to get out of here." I said, kissing her forehead. "Josh, I don't know if I'm going to make it." She said, almost in tears. I had to think of a way out, and quick. I knew that Warren and the others would be looking for us, but how long would that be? We needed help, fast. "Baby, you're going to make it." I said, kissing her forehead. "I think I may have an idea, but I'm going to need you to be strong enough to help me, okay?" I said. She nodded and came over to where I was standing. "We are going to have to be quick about this." I began tearing off wood from the shed's walls. Long nails began to come off. I quickly screwed them into two pieces of wood as far as they would go. I wasn't sure how well this would work out, but Addy was worth trying for. I handed her the wood with the nails. "Are you ready?" I asked. "Let's get some water." She said and I opened the doors quickly. There were zombies swarming the place, and coming right at us. We both began hitting them with the nails in the wood and ran around the ones that we couldn't get. While we were running, I could tell that Addy was getting weaker. I grabbed her hand and pulled her along the way. She eventually fell to the ground and couldn't move at all; she passed out. Crap, crap, crap. I thought. The only thing I could do was pick her up and run as fast as I could until I found a weapon and some water. I saw a truck coming our way. And it wasn't the groups vehicle. That's the last thing I need. They pulled up and I saw Warren and Vasquez hop out. "Take her." I said, running out of breath. Vasquez carried Addy to the vehicle and gave her water. Warren gave me my weapon and we took down a couple of the z's that had been chasing us before getting in the truck and driving away. I was sitting in the backseat with Addy in my arms when she woke up. "How are you feeling?" I asked. She smiled, "I feel a lot better. Thanks to you." She said. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and she lied her head on mine. "I love you Josh." She said with a smile.
"I love you too, Addy." ❤️

Hope you like it. Thank you for becoming my new internet friend, as well!
