"I know something is going on between you two." My sister , Addy said as we drove down the road. "Nothing is going on," I reassured her as I looked through the back window at 10k. He was pretty cute , but he was so strange . I will admit , I do like him , but come on , it's 10k . We have been around each other for months and all we do is stare at each other and occasionally talk here and here. I don't where Addy got the idea that we have a secret relationship in her head , but nothing has happened so far , but I kind of wish that I would . I keep telling myself that I don't want a relationship with anyone , not even friendship because well , we are in the middle of the apocalypse , we lose people so easily now . The truck came to a stop , interrupting me from my thoughts . "We need to search for food." Warren , our group leader said. "We are
low on supplies so we need to pair up. Murphy &' Doc. Addy &' Mack. 10k &' Y'n. &' Vasquez , you're with me." She said , as she took off in the opposite direction. We all split up . 10k &' I walked silently throughout the woods for what felt like forever but eventually he spoke. "Look over there." He whispered, pointing into the distance. "Do you see the deer?" He asked me. I nodded my head , waiting for him to fire. He pressed his rifle against his shoulder and then stopped, looking at me. "Do you want to try?" He asked, handing me his gun. He came behind me, adjusting the gun into the right location and showed me exactly where to look through the scope. I have shot a gun before , but not this big . He was still holding the gun behind me when I shot it. I shot it right through the skull . He still sat behind me , carelessly breathing in my ear. "Great job." He whispered and then moved my hair behind my ear. I turned around to face him , i was confuse because I have never seen this side of 10k , not that I was complaining. Once I was completely turned around I said, "10k , I ." &' before I could even finish my sentence , he grabbed my face &' kissed me. I could feel sparks fly throughout my whole entire body , I have never felt this way before . "Y'n , I really like you &' I have since I first came into the group, will you be mine?" He asked . Then I kissed him , referring that my answer was yes . After that , we held hands all the way to the group and we skinned the deer together . That night , we even cooked it over a fire . Even though it was still the apocalypse , he made it seem like a dream . It was the best day of my life . ❤️
