I feel it as soon as I return from the toilet. Something is wrong. Immediately I go search for Julie and Kyle, but when I find them, I wish I'd never have seen it. I see Julie, laying on the ground. Blood everywhere. Kyle crying. "What happened?" I ask Kyle: "Julie is deeeeaaaaad" he cries. Julie dead? And what about my wife, my child? "Get an ambulance!" I scream. "At least try to safe the baby!"
In all this hectic, all I can think of is: "I lost Julie. I lost my child. It wouldn't have happened if I didn't go to the toilet. It's all my fault."
When the doctors come and take Julie, I notice a paper which I haven't seen before:
Dan Smith,
Your family isn't safe anymore. Julie is dead, your child will be the next one.
