"ZAYN!!! WAKE UP, WAKE UP!!! IT'S TIME TO GET UP!!! C'MON BUDDY, RISE AND SHINE!!!"

What.

That was the first thing that came to Zayn's brain the moment he heard...Who was that anyway?

What time is it, anyway? What happened yesterday, anyway?

Zayn opens his eyes and immediately lets out a groan. The sun's rays are attacking his retinas again, why does he always forget to cover his window?

"ZAYN!  BREAKFAST IS READY!  DON'T MAKE ME COME IN THERE!"

Okay, okay. He's up.

The raven lazily jumps out of his bed and stretches a bit, bending his neck side to side.

Coincidentally, his eyes land on his nightstand, where the plastic of beer cans were.

Oh, now he remembers.

He remembers everything. Him coming back home from the girls' hotel. Him seeing Louis cry in the living room. Talking to him about his dream. Him seeing Harry. Him going out.  Him smoking. Him leaving because he heard that he's girlfriend's not okay. Him glaring at Harry and Niall. Louis taking him to the park to talk. Them coming back to a furious Harry. The silent lunch. Him leaving. Him coming back somewhere around two in the morning. Him hearing Louis and Harry. Him climbing through the window to his room. Him drinking.

He trudges toward the door, his fingertips ready to grasp the knob and twist, but it comes to a halt.

They can't come inside if it means them seeing those beer cans.

He snatches the plastic off his nightstand. Where should he put them? Where should he put them?

Gotta think quick. Quick, Zayn. QUICK.

Another series of knocks on the door startles him. "Zayn, are you up yet?! HELLOOOOO?!?!?!?!?"

He felt like he was in some movie full of suspense. The doorknob seemed to rotate so agonizingly slow, so terribly slow...

"Morning Zayn!!" Louis jumps in Zayn's room as if he was a rabbit.

"Oh hey there you are! But what're you doing over there?" Louis grins at him, but his smile falters as his big blue eyes land on a panting Zayn beside a cabinet.

"Nothing, nothing!" Zayn says rather quickly, waving a hand effortlessly. "Something fell from my cabinet, that's all."

"Well, if you say so!" Louis smiles that unusually large smile. What's got him grinning like there's no tomorrow?

Then it hit him. Oh yeah. That talk yesterday, probably.

"C'mon, let's go! Breakfast is ready and everyone's waiting for you!" Louis skips like a kid and he has an arm around Zayn in a second and he's pulling the 19 year-old out of his lair.

The brunette probably has Harry as the love of his life right now. Only such a thing would cause him to be this happy.

But then, it could be about something different. He may never know until the Tommo decides to talk about it.

When he and Louis reach the living room, Niall's already waiting for them with a huge smile. "Morning Zayn! Had a good nap?"

All Zayn could do was nod. Nod in approval. Because that's what he's supposed to do, right? Let them know that he doesn't know what the hell is going on and let them explain it to him.

Zayn takes a seat, and everyone has their eyes on him. As if begging for him to talk or at least say something, so he does when he meets their eyes. He had to bite back a sigh before talking.

"So...What's with the...happy atmosphere?" Zayn asks doubtfully.

"I'm glad you asked!" Harry grinned.  "Allow me to explain..."

"And that's why Louis was being rushed the day before and Harry was so angry yesterday!" Niall finished with a huge grin.

"We didn't want to let you know because you know how you are right now and...The thought of you knowing in that state of yours, I can't bare to watch it," added Harry with a small smile.

Zayn let out a single nod. Even if he knows what's been going on, he listened to Harry's story too just to understand the situation he and Louis were in.

The Muslim notices everyone's eyes on him again, waiting for a response.

"So," Zayn begins, his brown eyes over Harry and Louis, "does that mean you guys are...you know...together?"

Silence.

It was Louis who decided to break it.  "Well, we've decided to you know...take things slow...I mean, surely Harry's still angry at me...Or something...It's just–"

"Okay, okay." Zayn  held his hands up, he didn't expect Louis to start fidgeting around for an answer. All he needed was a single yes or no.

"I understand. Stop fidgeting and let's eat. I'm starving." He adds. And he wasn't joking. He was hungry.

And no one understood. Everyone–including Niall of all people–was laughing at him, as if he made a super funny joke in the morning.

"What?" Zayn looked around innocently, but apparently the lads were still busy with laughing their arses off.

"You guys are meanies," Zayn whines, crossing his arms as he pouts at everyone, but even he can't help smiling over his bandmates' happiness.

Maybe, for now, he was happy he was feeling like this because he knows Niall, Liam, Harry, and Louis would turn his frown upside down even in their slightest actions.

And cut! Okay, at least I've updated even if it was a filler chapter or some sort. I'm making this fanfic longer than it's supposed to be, right?

I mean, it's been 6 MONTHS ever since I've begun this and WOW I'm not yet finished?! I must be the slowest updater in the world. -__-

But anyhow, here's Chapter 22 and I hope you like it! I am really trying my VERY HARDEST to update even if I am and still going through writer's block because of school and the world, aha.

And wow due to my very slow updates, ZERRIE HAVE BEEN ENGAGED. Now I feel like this fic's useless and not even worth a read anymore.

But if you guys insist on me updating (IDEK who I'm talking to seeing as everyone's left me :PP) then I WILL update and make sure I will NOT start another story if this fanfic's sure as FINISHED!

Vote and follow me! Or add this to your reading list! And thank you for supporting! - Chey xx
