Chapter 18. Sweetness and Jealousy

Courtney's POV

The next day when i woke up, the first thing that came up to my mind is Greyson. Why am i like this? Oh God, help me. I took a bath but still, he's on my mind. Ugh! I changed my clothes, wearing green t-shirt, blue shorts and partnered with an ipanema slippers. I went downstairs with my face like this ----> •_• can't explain.

As i eat my breakfast, i was remembering about yesterday, about what YN told me. Whoa! Courtney, don't expect too much cause it'll turn to disappointments.

When i am almost done eating, someone poked my side causing me to jump a little bit. It was YN, having a wide grin on her face. Whut? What again YN.

"What?" I asked her with a what-do-you-want look.

"Nothing! Just focus on what you are doing." She replied wiggling her eyebrows. ~_~ <----- YN.

"Pshh" is all i can say.

When i'm all done, i went upstairs to my room with YN. We had so much fun, girl stuffs, love lives and etc. oh what a flirt! YN was lying on my bed while reading a book while me, sitting on the floor and listening to my favorite songs.

All of a sudden, a pebble hit YN's legs. Where did it come from?

"Ouch! Why did you do that Courtney!?" YN screamed while rubbing her legs.

"I did not! It wasn't me!" I protested.

Another pebble hit my head. Ouch! What the fudge! I turned my head where the pebble came from, from the window. We glanced at each other and stood up. We went to the window to see who is that person.

"YN!" Someone whispered-yelled and it was Greyson. What is he doing here?

"What are you doing here?" We both said in chorus, again, we took a glance on each other and back to Greyson.

"Wanna hang out?" He said with pleasing eyes.


Your POV


I looked at Courtney, the way she smiles... Ayieee. So wide that her lips can already touch her ears. Oh my! She's blushing. I quickly answered yes so that Courtney won't be like "ahh. Sorry but we can't...." I know her guys!

"Uhmm yes? sure Greyson! Wait for us" i said causing Courtney to have a death glare on me, was just like you-can't-do-this-to-me look. Sorry Ney!

"Thanks! I'll be waiting here" Greyson added before turning around.

I pulled Courtney from the window but then when i looked at her face, ahahaha i swear when you saw her face, you too will burst out laughing.

"What?? You don't want that?" I asked

"Nakakahiya. Too embarassing YN! Why did you do that? You could've said that we're busy and just let him hang out by himself" she demanded and gave me the smirk of hers.

"So you don't want? Okay, i'll just tell Greyson what you said" i said waiting for her to stop me. And i'm right! I was going to tell Greyson what she said but then she grabbed my wrist.

"Wait! Don't. You already did it, fine, i'll go" Courtney said frowning.

"Yes!" i said as i smile. "Come on! I want you to be attractive to his eyes, i'll give you a make over and i swear! He'll fall for you" i said excitedly making Courtney blush like a tomato.

I saw a big smile on her face. She looks so cute when she does that. I picked a yellow hanging blouse for her and a white shorts, partnered with a black high cut converse. I am not a fashionista but Courtney is. I picked clothes for her because she can't even think of a clothing that suites her. She's too excited i think? That's what she is right now! Wide smile, can't move, and can't even talk! I snapped my fingers right in front of her face.

"Courtney! Hey!" I said giving her a where-on-earth-are-you look.

"Oh yeah?" She said. I face palmed.

"You're gonna wear this" i showed her the clothes i picked.

"Okay!" She said but after a few seconds, she said "wha-what?!" Ya serious?" With wide eyes.

"I'm not joking. You think i am? Oh well, then pick your clothes, let's see if your fashion sense will function well" i said.

"Ouuu... Fine" she said letting out a big sigh.

"Thanks" i said rubbing her back, comforting her.

"Now change your clothes! He's waiting" i added then she went to her closet.

Your POV

We are here in Greyson's house, hanging out with his friends. I admit it, i shouldn't have agreed with Greyson. Courtney's right. I could've told him that we are busy, wanna know why i feel so regretful? Because i am alone here, sitting on the couch while Courtney's enjoying 'her moment' with Greyson but Greyson seems to be enjoying this time too.

OUCH! a little pinch came from my heart. What does it mean? Maybe just health problems. But this is so unusual. Why so EMO YN! Don't be. They are there having their 'moment'.
SWEETNESS is in the air. But me, i don't know. JEALOUSY? what YN! You are not jealous! Okay? You are not! Knock it off! Erase erase! I know, this is just the feeling of being lonely but i am pretty sure it's far from love.

"Come on! Join us!" Greyson said pulling me.

"No, it's okay" i lied.

"Okay, just call me if you need something" he said giving me a sweet smile. Ahh i wanna melt. Shrug it off. God!

They played truth or dare. The bottle pointed to Courtney and she chose dare. One of Greyson's friend said that she needs to kiss Greyson on the cheek for 5 seconds. I was shocked and at the same time, waiting for Courtney's answer. What more? She said "okay" and so did Greyson and they did it. Again, another pinch came from my heart..

We bid our goodbyes to them and we went home.
