I, Mya Leeh, sitting in the back classroom doodling in my journal. It's learning lab. The last class of the day. "Mya, what are you working on?" Mrs. Vukisya asks me. "Drawing in my journal." I reply. She walks to my desk and checks the doodle. "What's this a disgusting filth?" Mrs. Vukisya says in anger. "It's a forest, Mrs. Vukisya." I said. "Don't act like a Hybrid. The forest is evil and people get lost then never seen again. I think you need to call a Brook when you get back home. You better do it or else I'll hit you with my stick." She suggested with a seething tone before walking away.

Brooks don't have colleges. Many year ago, Hybrids attacked the colleges and many people were killed. Now we take classes in normal for our school ages like 5-11 is PreBrook. Age 12-14 is RipeBrook. 15-18 is Brook. 19-22 is ProBrook. It's ridiculous. They are so afraid that the Hybrids will attack us again. Last time that happened was many countless years ago that I wasn't even born. The best part we are under protected by the Brooks. Consequence is that if you draw something related to the evil Hybrid, you are forced to call the Brook and ask its forgiveness otheriwse you'll be known as "outcast, outlawed, or outsider." Which that just happened when I doodled a forest in my journal.

A small loud ringing was heard on speakers. "Go ahead, class, you are free like a bird." Mrs. Vukisya says. "And, Mya, call for the Brook or else." She seethes. I turned back and rolled my eyes. This is obnoxious. "Just call the Brook and ask forgiveness." I grumbled to myself. "Hey, Mya got caught for drawing a forest in class!" That little man yelled out loud. Everyone started laughing. "Nobody likes a outsider. Ask Brook forgiveness. He will accept it!" The boy began laughing. I turned around face the man with that ginger hair and big nerd glasses as a slammed my locker. "Watch your tone, mister, I am not a outsider or you want yourself to become a insider!" I hissed at him. He walked away without saying a peep. I sigh in relief. I walk out the school.

How do I call for the Brook again? Let me see. Oh wait, there's multiple ways to do that.
1. Go into a dark quiet room and yell out "Brook, I am asking forgiveness. Let me know if you forgive me."
2. Focused on that grey bird known as Brook and breathe him in as energy.
3. Let the Brook visit you during your dream and ask it forgiveness.

"This will be so much fun." I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes. "Watch it, Mya, otheriwse, the Brook won't forgive you for disobeying his rules!" I've warned myself. I walked on the dusty sidewalk. All the money is going to the projects about Brooks. To my right there's a statue of a Brook sitting there surronded by dirt and dust.

I walk beside the cut down trees. People fear trees cause Hybrids to come. They try to cut off the Hybrid attacks and killings. Well, at least, no Hybrid has attacked yet. A cold breeze past behind me. "It's winter wind, I am not getting sick during spring." I started to run. The cold hit my body on impact. I ignore it regardless of its winter temperature. Once, I am home. I can warm up a bit.

Next, there were three paths. I took the left because it's a shortcut to home. Our town is very wealthy however greedy. Houses were build with marble such as ours. The middle path leads us to a ragged town that's almost abandon because it's dangerous to the environment and the atmosphere. It kills plants, animals, and sometimes humans. The right one leads us into nowhere. It's where the outcasts go if Brooks don't forgive their orans. It's dark and scary. No one doesn't want to go there not even myself. I've heard great legends that once you enter that path, you'll become a outcast and die immediately.

I closed in onto the rich marble town. Humans gathering water from the well that's filtered. It's a beautiful town that I like a lot. I opened the door. Mother is working at the bakery again. Father was working making the stone marble to build the House Of Brook. This is perfect time to ask for Brook's forgiveness. I walked to my room. My house is like a two story building. I shut the door and close the curtains. I went into the left corner of the room. I close my eyes and breathe. "Brook, I am asking forgiveness. Let me know if you forgive me." I said outloud. My echo spread throughout the room like it was hollow. I sat and wait. After minutes, nothing happened.

Then I saw a grey shadow of dust above me. It must be the Brook came to tell me he's forgived. I was wrong. I heard a loud screech before I knew, a black creature was on top of me. I never been in so much fear that I shake like a earthquake. It screeched at me again. It began to choke me. I couldn't gasp for air.

"In the name of Hybrid, I command you to leave me be forevermore, so mote it be!" I yelled out of my mouth without even thinking. The creature vanished. I breathe air and shocked to hear what came out of my mouth. I swipe my hands against my hand. I can't believe those words came out of my mouth. "I can't believe I said Hybrid as power to scare the creature away. I thought I was asking Brook forgiveness. Then that creature attacked me. No one will believe this not even myself." I gasp the words. "I can't believe Hybrid scared that creature off. Only Brook can do that."

Mother comes into my room with a suprise look upon her face. "Mya, you alright?" She asks. Where did the time gone? Did that black creature made me time lapse. The memory vanished like a second ago. Like a dream ended when you open the eyes. "Nothing." I gasped. "Okay, ten minutes. Be ready." Mother says and walks out of my bedroom. I would never told my parents what happened. What would be the Mrs. Vukisya's reaction to this? I can't lie otherwise I'll be send to the third path and die for being a outsider. She will ask what was the black creature. Then in thought, the black creature was the Brook. It attacked me. He caused harm however the Hybrid word scared him off. What's this? Brook didn't forgive me for my orans or Hybrid helped me from reaching my demise?
