Chapter 14: Battle with Aven Rain

There were a couple of Hybridists in the crowd here in the amplatheater. Robee and Anaya were at the edge of the arena watching me closely. I guess they wanted a really good fight. If I fall down, get back up. This is going to be a daily workout to help me fight the Brooks if they come again.

"Aven Rain!" I called. A sword appears in my hand as a blue flash appears right in front of me. The crowd began to cheer. Aven Rain appeared however he appeared to be different than last time I saw him. He's still wearing his pointy nose mask and his black cape. He was wearing black outfit. He was holding a sword. "I am suprise, you wanted to fight prior to where I had in mind," says Aven Rain. "Anyways, let's start."

I keep my sword just on my side. Then he began to charge at me. He takes out his sword and gets ready to swam it at me. "Mya Leeh, do something!" Robee yells from the edge of the arena. He's right, I have to do something.

As he began to swing the sword at my face. I block it with my sword. Clash! The sound made. I take the sword out of defense and swung at his stomach. He grabbed me by the arm then kneed me in the stomach twice. Pounds of pressure and pain went straight through my back. Aven back away and I fall to the ground.

"Mya, get up, don't give up!" Anaya yells from the edge of the arena as well. I slowly began to stand back up. I ignored the loud crowd from the watching area. The pain numb my stomach off. Probably I'm going to get a bruise and a half from getting kneed there.

Aven Rain began to charge me once again. He was going at speed and put his sword in a vertical position. I don't think so. I bend my arm back. Then I charged at him. I grab his wrist that was holding his sword in. I use my strength to make him pull back and fall onto the sandy concrete ground. The crowd went wild.

He jumps right onto his feet. My eyes widen. Oh wow, I guess I am defeating the king of the warriors.

"I guess I need to knock out." Aven Rain suggested. "Go ahead." I replied. "I am not afraid." Aven charges at me once again. I dashed his charge. "You miss," I said to Aven. "What about this?" Aven smiles and his sword turns into a whip. He whips me right in the leg. The pain was extreme. I fall down. "Ow." I grunt.

"Mya, don't give up!" Robee's yells was heard from the screaming cloud. I discovered I was low on energy and couldn't move. Aven Rain starts walking slowly towards me. "I am not giving up." I whispered. "What did you say?" Aven asks. I smiled and laughed. "I am not giving up!" I yelled on to my feet. I roared almost like a tiger. Aven grunts. I can't believe Aven Rain is fighting me with great force. I know it isn't most of his power. Not even a fracture.

I charge at him again. Aven whips me; however I dodged his attack. He kept lashing his whip again and again. My leg is scratched and bleeding. I don't care. Physical pain is nothing. Mental pain is more. "This for not giving up!" I hollored. I slash my sword right across his chest. "This is for Robee and Anaya!" I hollered once again and cut another scatch upon his chest. "And this is for me!" I yelled one last time. He lashed out his whip. I grabbed it. I ignore the leather claws digging into my hands causing me agoney. I pulled the whip. Aven was dragged closer to me.

He bent over and kicked him in the head. Aven flipped over on his back. Deep breathing. Then I collapsed weak again. Pain came over. The crowd went wild.

Pain all over my body began to heal. The cuts and slashes began to heal as well. I don't feel pain anymore. I got more energy. I stand back up and so did Aven Rain. "You are going to be a strong fighter." Aven says impressed. "You can challenge me to a duel anytime you like." "Thanks, but this time. Use more power," I replied. He smiles. "Oh I will!"

The crowd began to leave the amplatheater stadium. Robee and Anaya ran to hug me. "Thank you for telling me not to give up." I said breathing. "I'm your friend, Hybrid Robee, I am supposed to help you." Robee says with glee.

I smiled. It was a strong fight against Aven Rain, a fighter of the Realm of Hybrid. If my Hybrid Protector was watching this, I bet she will be proud.
