The Realm of Hybrid

Chapter 5: Listening to the Hybrids

Three days after the Brooks stopped searching. We head out from the tree. "How about we try something new?" Robee says. "Listening to the Hybrids." We walked among another path that was made of stones. We stopped at a tree at the edge of the path.

"Don't be shy." Robee says. I nodded. "Opelila Night!" He calls. Seconds after a energy Hybrid landed on the branch. The energy began go shapeshift into a woman. She had dark hair and green eyes in a beautiful black dress. "This is a newcomer of the Realm of Hybrid." Then he whispers to my ear. "She's tough to be friends with. Don't make it too cranky for her." I nodded. I now need to be bold and try to impress.

"Greetings, Opelila Night." I greeted. "Who are you?" She asks in a low voice. "Mya Leeh. I came from Brooks, a foul place of lie." I replied. "I've heard of that place. I dislike it." Opelila said. "Dark energy masquerading as good." "I got attack there after calling for the Brook. They don't our culture here. Thus, they want to destroy it." I said. "Do you have a goal in the Realm of Hybrid?" She asks. "My goal is here follow my own path, tell the truth of the Brooks, become strong enough as a Hybrid." I replied. "Going to take a long to achieve that," Opelila says. "I know, but time will go quicker." I replied. "Nice to meet you, Mya. I will talk to you again once again." Opelila turns back into a Hybrid and flies away.

Robee nudges me. "You've impressed, Opelia, I am amazed." He commented. "Thanks," I reply. "Now let's try another Hybird. Ready?" He asks. I nodded. "Arrow Fire!" He calls. "He's one of the protectors to protect the realm, so brave." Robee gives me advice. A large flash of blue appear on the branch making me jump a bit. "Stay calm." Robee says. I swallow quietly and stand tall. A male appears blue skin with blue metal armor and brown hair and eyes. A sword was in his pocket. I bow.

"Newcomer?" Arrow Fire says then laughs. "You are the one who got attack from a Brook almost like a week again?" "Yes, I've should've learn that was coming." I reply. He then chuckled. "Well, that was happen to a clueless person and guess what? You figured out the truth." Arrow replies. I smiled. "I think I need to be careful who've a called otherwise I'll mess my life up." "Nice meeting you." Arrow Fire begans to fade from view. "Yeah he's does that." Robee says. "Especially his grand entrance. Perfect magic show there." I began to laugh. Then a blue flash appears right in front of me that I've jumped again. Arrow Fire gives Robee the eye brow. "Really Robee?" He says. "I've heard that!" Robee and I began to laugh. "Just explaining to this Patriot, here." Robee replies. Arrow Fire rolls his eyes with a smile then fade in blue dust.

"Anyways onto the next session. How to fight like a Hybrid." Robee says. I began to walk beside him. "Where are we going?" I ask. "The arena." He replies.

After minutes of walking, I see a stone amplatheater (Sorry for spelling it wrong.) We've enter through the arch of stone. The ground turned to sand. Robee gives me a sword from the a small shelf beside us. We walk though to the middle of the sandy battle arena. "Ready?" He asks. I nodded. "Just focus and stay calm." I get into a fighting position. The sword right beside me ready to swing and strike. "Aven Rain!" He yells out. A blue bird appeared right in front of us. A teenage boy appeared with a mask with a very pointed nose. He was wearing like short blue ripped shirt and black shorts with a cape behind him.

"Today, we will fight." He says. "I will teach you as you go along." Aven Rain draw out a sword. I pointed mine towards him. "Hahahaha!" He laughed. "Ready to fight, huh?" "Yes, I am." I say. He begans to run towards me. I dodge to my left whole doing a side flip. Charge at him, I thought to myself. I charge with my sword. A swing cutting his side.

"Nice." He comments. "Can you do a backflip?" Aven charges the knife at me. I jump backwards and I made a ground flip. "Not bad. You get better." Aven says. "Now block." Aven swings his sword above me. I put my sword up. Clash! It blocked it. I pull back and stab in the stomach. He was bleeding. Aven drops his sword. "Next time, I am going to take it harder on you." He says. "You're free." Robee walks behind me and pats my back.

"You're good at this, Patriot." He commented. "Tomorrow night after training, we are going to a welcoming ceremony for you Mya Leeh." My eyes widen. I never had a welcoming party when I was born in Brook. "Sounds good." I reply. Robee and I began walking back to the tree.

It was about to sunset. Thus, sunsets I adore in the Realm of Hybrid. I like the three Hybrids that I met today, Aven Rain, Opelila Night, and Arrow Fire. They must be nice to a newcomer then they get use to them later on. For them to like me, I have to keep trying and never give up.

We walked past a berry bush. Robee snatches a cherry. The cherry was already clear as a mirror's reflection. "Want a bite?" He asks. "You've been doing very well, I have to give some kind of treat." "It looks good, I'm going to try it." I reply. He gives the berry into my hand. I take a bit. A sweet tasty explosion went into my mouth. "This is good." I said. "Sometimes new things can be good." Robee replies then chuckles.

A rain drop hits my face. "Robee?" I call for him. He looks up. "It's raining." He replies. "We should get back to the tree then." The sprinkles turn to rain. It felt good upon me face. "I love the rain." I said. "We get rain from time to time. I love the rain actually," Robee replies.

Robee and I enter the secret entrance of the tree. I climb the ladder down. Enter the Blooming Room. "I am going to sleep, Mya. Robee is pretty tired." Robee tells me. "Okay. See you in the morning." I reply. He then walked past me. I follow him until he walked right to go to his room; mine is on the left. I enter my room and get undress. (Movie camera goes down to neck.) I put on a soft white dress. I jump onto my bed. I crawl under the blankets then drift off to sleep. Tomorrow, I have a celebration to go to. I can meet Hybrids and the people in the Realm of Hybrid.
