Samantha's P.O.V

((when Luke picked her up))

I checked myself out one last time in the full-length mirror beside my bedroom door. I fixed my hair and straightened out my clothes. I grabbed my phone and left my bedroom.

I quickly grabbed my apartment key and purse before giving myself a quick pep talk.

"Its just a guy, Sam. You can do this." I said determined while opening the front door.

Instantly a warm hand slid into my hand, I looked up shocked to see it was Luke and he was looking at me with pure adoration.

"Quite a pep talk Sam." he winked while shutting the door for me.

My cheeks began to heat up and I looked down. He laughed and pulled me into a quick hug.

His cologne engulfed me and I felt like I was floating on a cloud. I absolutely love guys cologne.

"We should probably get going." he said while breaking the hug.

I nodded and locked my front door before letting him take my hand again and lead me down the hallway towards the elevator.

We were sitting in his car listening to Therapy by ATL when I heard Luke groan loudly. I turned around to make sure he was ok, he looked at me also and opened his mouth to speak but closed it soon after.

"Spit it out Luke." I laughed while turning in my seat.

"Ok well you're probably gonna think I'm the worst date planner ever but I forgot this blanket that my shit head friend was supposed to give me and I have to go get it or else this will suck and-" he started rambling on before I cut him off.

"Luke it's fine, lets go get the blanket." I laughed at how adorable he was.

He nodded his head and smiled with relief while turning the car around.

We came to a stop in front of a small cute house with two cars in the driveway. I felt like I've seen one of the cars before but couldn't figure out where.

Luke unbuckled himself, I doing the same.

"It'll be quick, I promise." he smiled sheepishly before opening the door and walking over to my side and doing the same for me.

"Such a gentlemen." I teased while poking his arm. He laughed and locked the doors before walking next to me.

"Sorry this is probably a bad start for our first date." he laughed nervously as we approached the front door.

"Hey, it's not problem." I reassured him as he knocked firmly on the door.

The door swung open and a blonde lady was standing in front of us.

"Luke!" she exclaimed while pulling him in for a hug.

"Hey Karen." he laughed while hugging her back.

I stare at them in awe. They released from their embrace before Karen I'm assuming turned towards me.

"You must be Samantha. This child has been talking about you so much." she laughed while pointing towards Luke and bringing me in for a hug.

I turned to see Lukes face turning a bright shade of red.

"Umm, can you tell Mikey that I'm here to pick up something from him." Luke said.
